“Turkey will take what is its right,” says Erdogan of his Neo-Ottoman Empire

Erdogan’s belligerence showed through his recent speech as he demands Turkey gets back former Ottoman Empire. Problem is, those areas are not currently part of Turkey. But Erdogan is convinced Allah wants him to conquer and rape and pillage are his will. Germany and France have already pleaded to Trump to step in. This situation is escalating quickly and Erdogan is bent on conquering.

00:03
and erdogan is if nothing else
00:06
consistent
00:07
and uh memory published a fascinating
00:10
video
00:11
uh with him explaining that it isn’t
00:14
really pillaging and looting
00:15
if it’s done for islam so
00:19
catch us up to date on uh on turkey and
00:22
it’s its
00:23
current state of belligerousness
00:25
belligerousness
00:27
yeah that is an interesting what you
00:28
referred to came out on august 26
00:31
and uh turkish president erdogan gave a
00:34
speech
00:34
at the mensa curt national park in
00:36
turkey which is in
00:38
uh it’s either in or near anatolia
00:41
uh which that was uh
00:44
in uh celebrating or in commemoration of
00:48
the 949th anniversary
00:51
almost a thousand-year-old victory uh
00:54
that the turks had
00:55
against the byzantine empire and that
00:57
was where they
00:58
they took that portion anatolia
01:02
and armenia away from the byzantine
01:05
empire that was their
01:06
victory that consolidated all of that
01:09
under turkish ottoman rule so
01:13
a big victory in the history for those
01:16
guys
01:17
and at that speech the amount of vitrol
01:20
was quite
01:21
interesting and the the take that
01:23
erdogan had on things about
01:26
how when they conquer uh it is the will
01:29
of allah
01:30
and so raping and pillaging it’s not
01:32
raping and pillaging it’s just
01:34
them getting what is their due that was
01:36
sort of the
01:38
the underlying philosophy of his speech
01:41
there remembering this
01:42
great ottoman victory of the past now
01:45
that is where you know carrying that
01:47
forward to today what he’s really
01:49
talking about and by the way he’s like i
01:50
say quite
01:51
blunt in this speech saying you know
01:54
anyone that stands against us will be
01:56
destroyed you know we’re gonna we’re
01:57
gonna take you out
01:58
and then whenever we do whatever it is
02:00
we do to you because you’re a conquered
02:01
people
02:02
it’s good it’s fine it’s what we should
02:04
be doing because you know
02:05
we’re the we’re the last islamic
02:08
civilization on the planet and it’s
02:10
us up up to us to save the world sort of
02:13
thing that’s kind of his point so
02:14
carrying it forward as i was saying what
02:16
you see in greece today
02:18
all those waters as i’ve said many times
02:20
where these natural resources are
02:22
he views as his and this is his
02:26
he believes this stuff it’s not he’s
02:29
saying it to get this or that or the
02:31
other
02:31
he believes those things are his now he
02:34
wants those because he’s an expansionist
02:37
and plans to conquer all of that area
02:39
again and he needs oil and gas and those
02:42
those types of natural resources in
02:44
order to do it
02:45
now kind of some interesting things that
02:48
have developed
02:49
over the last two months this has been
02:51
chugging along behind the scenes
02:53
and we’ve seen for example these
02:56
almost confrontations between the two
02:58
navies of greece and turkey
02:59
turkey’s navy is much larger and more
03:01
powerful than the greek navy not that
03:03
the greeks wouldn’t be able to put up a
03:04
fight but
03:06
in the long run it would be hard for
03:07
them to win what has happened though
03:09
france has
03:10
at least made sounds of committing to
03:13
support
03:14
greek the greek navy with their navy and
03:16
this would be a battle
03:17
as everyone would imagine it would be an
03:19
air and sea battle combination
03:22
and uh if you take the french and the
03:25
greek
03:25
together uh they’re they’re probably a
03:28
solid match with a mild advantage over
03:31
turkey
03:32
when combined and behind the scenes now
03:35
this is interesting too
03:37
france and germany and some other
03:38
countries including some arab countries
03:42
have been contacting president trump
03:43
behind the scenes
03:45
saying you know this is a problem you
03:47
know you’ve got to get turkey under
03:49
control
03:50
help us this is this is this is spinning
03:52
out of control
03:53
uh so far it’s it’s interesting i i
03:56
don’t know what the response on the part
03:58
of
03:58
president trump has been but it’s been
04:00
something the effect of
04:01
you know leave it to me i’m working on
04:03
it sort of thing so the good news out of
04:05
all of that is that president trump is
04:07
aware of it and looking at it and
04:08
thinking about it so
04:10
what comes out of that i don’t know
04:11
don’t have any inside information in
04:13
that sense
04:14
of what the administration plans to do
04:16
uh
04:18
but it’s interesting that this is very
04:20
widely recognized
04:21
in europe and the arab countries
04:24
and we’re seeing uh now egypt makes some
04:28
noises of joining in now if you were to
04:30
see
04:31
uh the the countries of greece
04:35
and france and egypt join up then
04:37
essentially
04:38
uh turkey would be completely
04:39
overwhelmed they wouldn’t have the
04:41
wherewithal to face
04:42
that much of uh you know of an advantage
04:45
in men and material and
04:46
equipment so uh it would be pretty
04:49
one-sided i think then at about that
04:50
point and that’s the noise they’re
04:52
making
04:52
other countries like united arab
04:54
immigrants and people like that
04:56
these guys are all looking and you can
04:58
see it if you look at their news i
05:00
i follow the these news that they put
05:02
out in english
05:03
and and are watching kind of the
05:05
reaction of what they say to these
05:06
things
05:08
that part of the world europe and the uh
05:11
arab countries are
05:12
very worried about turkey they see where
05:15
it’s headed
05:15
and they’re all beginning to line up and
05:18
cooperate
05:19
and worry about it and commit to troops
05:21
and they’re trying to stop it now
05:23
that’s on the one hand erdogan has said
05:26
kind of in some you know possible chance
05:29
for a peace
05:30
agreement of some sort has said that
05:32
he’ll look at some sort of sharing
05:34
arrangement
05:35
but what is a sharing arrangement in his
05:37
definition a sharing arrangement is
05:39
he gets full access to greek waters to
05:41
do whatever he wants
05:42
and greeks can do whatever they want i
05:44
guess and that’s his concept of sharing
05:47
so i don’t see a lot of chants of that
05:50
even though the germans have continued
05:52
to
05:53
come in and out of turkey and greece
05:55
trying to negotiate
05:56
broker some sort of peace deal it
05:58
doesn’t look like it’s headed that way
06:00
this speech that that erdogan gave on
06:02
the 26th
06:03
really kind of lays out his perspective
06:05
very well if you listen to it
06:07
he just doesn’t believe
06:10
that he could or should concede anything
06:14
on any of this stuff
06:16
he views those natural resources as i
06:18
said
06:19
as as his you know as what he needs to
06:22
do and he
06:23
and what he plans to do and conquering
06:25
these regions again
06:26
so uh it’s it’s it’s again i i remain
06:30
at the at the definition of it’s it’s
06:32
it’s no longer uh if it’s when
06:35
and i think this speech reinforced it i
06:37
think that these these countries coming
06:38
back to
06:39
president trump and asking for help all
06:41
reinforces this concept
06:43
everybody sees this going south now
06:46
president trump probably has within his
06:47
power
06:48
to do substantial things to stop
06:52
this from actually turning into a
06:54
shooting war
06:55
don’t know that he’s convinced that he
06:57
wants to do that
06:58
we’ll have to see probably not much is
07:01
going to happen until after election
07:02
because he’s not
07:03
it’s just too risky to make a bold move
07:05
right now before the november elections
07:07
so erdogan probably has that period of
07:09
time to kind of do what he wants
07:11
we’ll see if he’s if he wants to start a
07:13
shooting war
07:14
if he thinks that france who you know do
07:17
they
07:18
live up to their commitments you know
07:20
sometimes
07:21
uh egypt i think they’d be more inclined
07:24
if they said they were going to do it to
07:25
do it
07:26
uh but their economy
07:30
in turkey is bad uh there’s
07:33
there’s a lot of things that sanctions
07:34
that could be done that would cripple
07:36
uh their ability and uh will they make a
07:39
deal they’re they’re flirting a lot with
07:40
iran because of those
07:42
oil resources and they need the oil so
07:44
could they
07:45
turn towards an axis type agreement with
07:49
iran and china or any other countries
07:52
it’s something we’ve speculated about
07:53
it’s possible i think those things are
07:55
certainly being discussed we know
07:57
they’re being discussed with iran
07:58
so uh how it plays out i just it’s just
08:02
it’s barreling towards war we’ll see
08:03
what happens
08:06
oh boy well it’s not like to be the
08:08
first time turkey started major war
08:09
thank you very much
08:37
you
