French troops and America’s 319 Airborne Field Artillery Battalion perform historic joint exercises

Crest of the 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment

Using the new Bonus Mk 155mm weapon, the two countries – often at odds – now work together in joint exercises. Positive news, says Brad Johnson, and an intelligent move given world conflict growth. The West faces increasing hostility and must unite to fend off dangerous conflict.

uh brad johnson here america for
00:02
americans for intelligence reform
00:03
intel reform.org it is march 2nd 2021
00:07
uh there’s kind of an interesting
00:08
development in uh in europe what was
00:10
traditionally called
00:11
yukon now uh europe and africa command
00:14
they’re doing some uh exercises with the
00:16
french military
00:18
and uh they’re they’re shooting at bonus
00:21
mk is the type of uh new
00:25
newly developed ammunition that’s it’s
00:26
an improved system
00:28
155 uh uh 155 millimeter
00:33
very highly precise stuff that can be
00:36
fired by
00:37
towed howitzer or self-propelled
00:39
howitzer things like that
00:40
pretty effective 155 millimeter it’s you
00:43
know
00:44
got uh can deliver some substantial
00:47
kinetic energy
00:48
so it’s a really sounds like a really
00:51
advanced nice system and it uses ladar
00:54
lidar
00:55
it’s these systems that are uh thermal
00:58
and laser sensors so
01:00
it greatly improves the accuracy of the
01:03
first shot
01:04
so it’s you know hopefully one shot one
01:06
kill at the other end
01:07
and uh would be a you know a vast
01:12
improvement i’ll put it that way in
01:13
these things so
01:14
very interesting that the americans are
01:16
going to be able to go out there this
01:17
was developed in europe uh
01:19
french run it now have it are using it
01:22
and they’re gonna they’re gonna do these
01:23
joint exercise sizes in the american
01:25
artillery unit is going to have a chance
01:27
to fire off let me just say it’s the uh
01:30
33 uh 319th airborne field artillery
01:33
regiment from the 173rd airborne brigade
01:36
uh that’ll those will be the american
01:38
stuff it’s a unit of the fourth
01:39
battalion
01:40
so you know kudos to you guys that’s
01:42
pretty cool wish i was going to be there
01:43
to see this but
01:44
uh we’re going to get uh get out there
01:47
with the french and fire off four of
01:48
these things and see how they do in one
01:50
of the
01:51
the training fields that they that they
01:52
use for these sorts of munitions
01:55
now what’s very interesting out of this
01:56
what’s important to me other than just
01:58
the coolness of being able to go do this
02:00
is uh the fact that this is the first
02:02
time
02:03
in modern history that we’ve done a
02:06
joint
02:06
military exercise of this nature with
02:09
the french
02:09
now the french have always since world
02:12
war ii
02:13
and world war ii was a mass as everyone
02:15
knows the the french initially fought on
02:17
the side of the
02:18
germans the nazis with the vishy french
02:21
and then
02:22
uh later they were thrown out and the
02:24
french changed sides and then began
02:27
fighting with the americans this was
02:28
through charles de gaulle
02:30
who was the head of the of the free
02:32
french military that came in
02:35
after the vichy were thrown out he had
02:37
always been fighting against the nazis
02:40
and later became the prime minister of
02:42
france and was
02:43
very famous there uh militarily he was
02:47
you know okay i suppose there were a
02:51
number of things reserved for him
02:53
uh that uh that uh
02:56
the the allied command and trying to
02:58
support the allied armies
03:00
uh left for him to do as a result in
03:03
some of these things that came off he
03:04
always had a very deep resentment of
03:06
americans and
03:07
one of the reasons that we in the united
03:09
states have had so many problems
03:11
with france and a lot of the dislike and
03:14
hatred even
03:15
even hatred to some degree that came out
03:17
of the french towards us was
03:19
was uh came from de gaulle who
03:22
that was his uh his attitude uh he was
03:24
not a very good military commander and
03:27
that sort of thing and i think he was
03:28
very resentful it was one of those cases
03:30
where the
03:31
ego was much larger than the actual
03:34
ability of the man
03:35
and uh which i would argue brits please
03:39
forgive me but montgomery i think is
03:40
another perfect example of that but
03:42
not to delve too far into the history of
03:44
it
03:46
what’s as i said so interesting out of
03:48
this is this is a joint exercise
03:50
for the very first time coming out of
03:53
that very anti-american
03:54
attitude that that evolved from de
03:57
gaulle
03:58
and world war ii so suddenly now we’re
04:00
going to do this i i shouldn’t say
04:02
suddenly but now we’ve finally
04:04
achieved that point where we’re doing
04:05
joint exercises and for a great reason
04:07
this is a
04:08
good one to do it on so they’ve picked a
04:10
good example where they can start doing
04:12
these
04:12
joint exercises but i think the world
04:15
has evolved enough and french
04:16
france has come around to the point
04:18
where they recognize
04:20
the dangers of this world are really
04:22
starting to accumulate
04:23
i think what this is is a tacit
04:25
recognition
04:27
by france who is essentially the
04:30
center of the eu along with germany but
04:34
really france number one and everyone
04:36
else you know a close second with
04:38
germany when everyone else
04:39
kind of distant third place and uh
04:42
that is that tacit recognition on the
04:44
part of
04:45
of france as to how this world has
04:48
evolved and becoming more and more
04:50
dangerous
04:51
uh with the cold war it was one of those
04:53
things where there was balance achieved
04:55
and there was actually while it could
04:57
have gone catastrophically bad there was
04:59
actually sort of overall less danger
05:01
now that’s not the case now there’s just
05:04
danger popping up all over
05:05
one of the things i spend a lot of time
05:07
on is in updating all of these things to
05:10
lay out what has the potential to really
05:12
go bad and wrong and sideways
05:14
and and evolve into a larger uh
05:18
conflict that that could
05:22
theoretically put us on a world war iii
05:25
type setting which that we all want to
05:27
avoid
05:28
and i think this is tacit recognition by
05:30
the country of france
05:32
just how much more dangerous the world
05:35
has become
05:36
and while we here the united states are
05:38
downgrading our capability especially in
05:40
the
05:41
intelligence community the military was
05:43
built back up
05:44
under uh president trump who recognized
05:47
many of these dangers
05:48
and it’s now already we’re starting to
05:50
see some of these things
05:52
where money’s being taken away from the
05:54
military and a lot of our
05:55
militarily related issues out there so
05:59
this is one of those things where our
06:00
defenses are beginning to drop
06:02
where the world recognizes that we need
06:05
to be building up and preparing for
06:06
conflict or
06:08
problems or dangers that are out there
06:10
versus downgrading like what we’re
06:11
seeing here
06:12
so i hope this military-to-military
06:14
cooperation with france
06:16
blossoms and i think now it looks like
06:19
the french have become
06:20
a more friendly partner to this sort of
06:22
activity and at least in that level
06:24
we’ll be a little bit better prepared
06:26
and hopefully the intelligence community
06:27
back here in the united states will
06:29
will fall in line and begin to recognize
06:32
it but probably not at least during
06:33
these next four years of the
06:35
of the oba of the biden administration
06:37
the obama
06:38
leftover obama administration biden
06:40
administration so
06:42
uh unfortunately but at least this is a
06:44
very positive nice step i’m certainly
06:46
very happy to see it and it just makes
06:48
us that little tiny bit better off

  1. So, who deserves credit for this joint exercise? … France? Certainly. – The O-Biden Administration? That would have been as suprising as it was quick – and all this while parts of the United States continue to fight an uphill battle against communist takeover, resp. against transitioning into authoritarian communist rule.

With the world becoming more dangerous, was it a mere coincidence that no new wars got started during President Trump’s *first term?

    1. “First Term”? Continuing false hype fueled by social media is a weak response. Amazing that we can now pursue military cooperation with leaders of Democracy so quickly in this new era.

      1. David,

you may have taken note of the asterisk attached to “first”? 😉

As a matter of fact, I don’t know whether there will be more terms… –

However, I do know that nothing is the way it seems, and that – considering the possibilities – there is no alternative to Trump’s NCSWIC (nothing can stop what is coming). We are at a crossroads, in the middle of a Reset, transitioning into the future. This future is either Biden’s communist, globalist, and demonic future or a better, saner, purer, brighter,… divine future, currently spear-headed by President Trump.

If I am wrong, and I could be wrong, then my hope for and faith in a good outcome would mean that we are all fooled while we willingly surrender to the communist takeover in hopes for a “plan.” With the possible federalization of national elections, continued censorship of social and control of mainstream media, and restrictions of private gun ownership, the situation grows more dire by the hour.

Are conservative hopefuls deluded – or right? People are motivated by hope, faith and prayer but they are also awake and well informed, looking for clues, collecting and sharing facts, attentive to their sources. I think there is reason to feel confident.

I mostly avoid MSM, browse alternative channels and try to sift through the stuff I find. Free information can be chaotic, contain falsehoods (deliberately spread or out of ignorance), but the truth that is shared makes it worthwhile and exciting.

Besides, there are a few websites/blogs/podcasts that I like in particular because they don’t make it too hard to gather truth/facts. It is enough to know who runs the show 😊. People can be honest and trustworthy in private but are obliged to “lie” (mostly by omission) in order to protect “our” troops, out of commitment to an oath of office, etc. This is how Brad operates as well. We have a rough idea of what he can and cannot share or disclose. In other words, he probably knows a lot more than he is willing or allowed to tell, and that’s okay as long as he radiates not only faith but also confidence and hope for a bright-er future that are maybe not only but likely also fact-based.

It also helps to pay attention to what people say and what they try to avoid at all costs. The elephant in the room is and continues to be the military’s domestic operations. The military is shielded, and we trust that they do everything possible to protect Americans against enemies within the country and from abroad.

I like to liken the Democratic Party and RINOs to the mafia. The crimes committed against the American people from within and outside the country in the context of the 2020 election were, as some have said, of biblical proportions. Justice will have to be brought, and the “cure” and consequences will not be any less dramatic, bringing about a shift of biblical/cosmic proportions. Either this – or America/humanity is toast.
