brad johnson here for americans for
00:02
intelligence reform intel reform.org
00:05
uh it is march 12 2021. now
00:08
there’s a story out on cheese produced
00:11
in the uk
00:12
this is of course very far away from
00:14
anything that i normally report on
00:15
but i just i had to bring this one up
00:17
because it just it is such a perfect
00:19
example that defines
00:22
communism socialism progressivism
00:24
liberalism
00:25
as we call it here in the states it
00:27
they’re all the same thing they all have
00:29
this centralized
00:30
run government-controlled economy in
00:33
society
00:34
and so they come up with stuff that’s
00:36
just
00:37
you know born of a horse patootie so
00:41
uh what they what they now have is
00:43
there’s this particular type of cheese
00:46
called stilton cheese it looks more or
00:48
less like a blue cheese to me my
00:49
untrained eye i’ve never had stilt and
00:51
cheese i’m sure it’s
00:52
great stuff uh seems very popular and
00:55
it can only be produced because of all
00:57
the conditions that that that cheese you
00:59
know it
01:00
where it’s made and where it sits and
01:02
all that has big impact on what you get
01:04
as the end result
01:05
so this cheese can only be produced in
01:08
certain small areas of
01:10
of the uk which uh you know my uk
01:12
friends please forgive me in advance for
01:14
pronunciation but it’s
01:15
uh lekis lechestershire derbyshire and
01:18
nottinghamshire are the are these areas
01:20
where this is produced
01:21
as i said forgive my butchery of the
01:24
names of these places and so what the
01:26
left has come up with
01:28
what they did it’s from the department
01:30
of environment food and rural affairs
01:33
anytime there’s the word environment in
01:35
it you know it’s extreme left wing and
01:37
you’re going to get screwed
01:39
by whatever they they’re doing because
01:40
they want money
01:42
so what they’ve done is come up with
01:44
this tax and of course they don’t call
01:46
it a tax
01:47
they call it this is for your own safety
01:50
we’re doing this for your own good
01:52
we’re taking your money to help you and
01:54
so what they’ve come up with
01:56
is a uh tax on sales so
02:00
this has now hit uh the uk because as
02:03
everyone knows there was brexit they’ve
02:05
separated
02:06
and so they’ve they sprang this on them
02:08
with no notice or anything
02:09
and so this these cheese sales just like
02:12
this is so ironic and crazy
02:16
so when the now when they have these
02:18
these sales of cheese which according to
02:20
the
02:20
one of the larger creameries that’s
02:22
there that produces this particular type
02:24
of cheese
02:26
uh they their online sales
02:30
average now of course all this is in
02:31
pounds i converted it to dollars but
02:33
their average online sale is roughly
02:35
forty dollars
02:37
so to sell this the fee that they have
02:40
to pay
02:41
is a veterinary surgeon certificate
02:44
again
02:44
not called a tax but what is it it’s a
02:46
tax and
02:48
how much do they have to pay that cost
02:50
right around 250
02:52
so you as they have to pass that on
02:54
right because
02:55
out of a 40 sale of cheese you know
02:58
probably at best 50
03:00
of that is profit so the company
03:02
producing it you know
03:03
probably best pockets twenty dollars of
03:06
that forty dollar sale
03:07
and so making twenty dollars they cannot
03:10
afford to absorb the two hundred and
03:12
fifty dollar
03:13
veterinary surgeon certificate tax so
03:15
they have to pass that on
03:17
so you know it’s going to be nearly what
03:19
was 40 is going to be
03:20
nearly 300 to buy so of course they
03:24
they screw the pooch they destroy the
03:25
business which of course that may also
03:27
be their goal too is just to destroy the
03:29
uk
03:30
out of revenge for them leaving the
03:32
european union who knows but
03:35
i i thought that this was the perfect
03:37
description of how communism works
03:39
socialism progressivism liberalism
03:42
they’re all the same and this is how
03:44
they operate
03:45
this is their mind’s view this view
03:48
of the of the world and how to operate
03:50
so one
03:51
they’re either taking revenge on the uk
03:54
leaving
03:54
by destroying a stilton cheese industry
03:59
that’s it and you know the eu they you
04:02
know they
04:03
you know the people of the eu probably
04:05
like this stuff because there were a lot
04:06
of sales into the eu
04:08
so it can only be produced in this area
04:10
so there’s no other way to get it
04:12
so now all the people in the eu no
04:14
longer have access to stilt and cheese
04:16
i mean that’s that’s the positive
04:18
outcome
04:20
and uh they don’t care you know they
04:23
just don’t care about any of that stuff
04:25
and there’s probably people reselling a
04:27
lot of this in in eu so they’re
04:29
actually damaging their own economy by
04:31
this stupidity of putting this tax on
04:34
there that
04:34
can’t be done so they either look at
04:36
these online sales and think oh here’s a
04:38
cash cow
04:39
so we’re gonna you know really tap into
04:41
this thing we’re gonna be making you
04:43
know they sold
04:44
a thousand of these and we’re gonna get
04:46
250 for each one of them now
04:48
and they’ll realize you know that that’s
04:50
not going to work that way that the
04:51
sales simply stop
04:53
or that’s being done for revenge or you
04:55
know some combination of the two
04:57
something along those lines so either
04:59
ignorance stupidity or
05:00
you know childish revenge on a cheese
05:03
producer in the uk
05:05
so that but like i said that just kind
05:07
of summed it up i
05:08
you know was working in areas of the
05:11
former soviet union
05:13
and was in the countryside driving along
05:16
with some
05:16
former kgb they were still active but
05:18
with uh
05:20
the new the new government after the
05:21
fall of the soviet union and uh
05:24
we saw these enormous miles from a city
05:27
we’re driving from one place to another
05:29
and
05:29
in the middle of this in these fields
05:31
nothing for miles and miles and miles
05:33
i saw this enormous complex of huge
05:36
cement buildings i mean it looked like
05:38
hotels and convention centers and all
05:40
this sort of stuff
05:41
and i looked at that and pointed to it
05:43
and talked and talked to these
05:44
you know kgb guys and said the hell is
05:47
all that stuff over there
05:49
out here in the middle of nowhere and
05:50
they looked at me and they said that is
05:52
a monument to socialism
05:53
and what it was was a an area where they
05:56
would
05:58
take college students to come out and
06:00
help with apple orchard harvest
06:02
and they would bring them in by the
06:04
thousands and it was part of their
06:05
socialist duty
06:07
to come out and pick these well
06:08
stupendously inefficient way to do it
06:11
but that they didn’t care you know they
06:13
didn’t care about the cost
06:15
added to the product to do all this
06:17
stuff building these buildings in
06:19
places where they couldn’t be maintained
06:21
and made no economic sense and all that
06:23
sort of stuff it didn’t matter to them
06:26
because they wanted these kids to do
06:27
their socialist duty by picking apples
06:29
for the soviet union
06:31
that is what produced socialist man
06:33
according to marx and all these theories
06:35
i mean just
06:36
stupidity after stupidity after
06:37
stupidity all that money wasted
06:39
all the inefficiencies then built into
06:41
the system so that whatever they made
06:43
out of those apples
06:44
would be produced at a cost much higher
06:47
than they would ever recover which is
06:48
why
06:49
these leftist systems always go broke
06:51
that’s just that’s how they
06:52
work and this is just such a perfect
06:55
example
06:56
of how far somebody can get their head
06:59
up their economic rear end on on an
07:01
issue
07:02
and you know why would you deny your own
07:04
people in the the eu access to this
07:06
cheese that’s
07:07
apparently quite a sought-after
07:10
commodity that’s a
07:12
particularly good type of cheese that’s
07:13
very hard to make and
07:15
very rare you can only buy it out of
07:16
this one area and
07:18
also want to destroy some economic or
07:20
damage rather than destroy
07:22
some economic sector out of the uk by
07:24
the way for
07:25
all of those that care their cheese
07:27
sales have just opened up in canada go
07:30
canada yay you now have access to
07:32
stilton cheese and of course the sales
07:33
into the us have been
07:35
good for a long time now there’s
07:36
built-in expenses to that too because of
07:38
shipping costs that have gone up it’s
07:40
a lot farther to the us and canada than
07:42
it is to the eu for
07:44
these uk creameries these cheese
07:46
producers so at any rate i
07:48
i like i said it’s not my usual thing
07:50
but had to point it out based on
07:52
how what a perfect example it is of how
07:54
the left
07:55
operates and why we’ve got to get rid of
07:57
these guys they’re just going to destroy
07:59
everything they touch
08:00
they are poison and a cancer in our
08:01
society we’ve got to get rid of them
08:23
[Music]
08:38
so
08:42
[Music]
08:46
you
