FBI targets Christians, ignores violent Antifa

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), an agency responsible for protecting the United States from internal and external threats, has been accused of targeting peaceful churches instead of violent terrorists. The accusations have come as a result of various incidents where the FBI has targeted and investigated churches who have been peacefully exercising their right to assemble, while ignoring individuals and organizations that pose a genuine threat to national security.

The FBI’s focus on peaceful religious organizations has been a cause for concern for many individuals and organizations. In 2016, the FBI targeted and investigated two prominent Indiana churches, allegedly because they were offering sanctuary to undocumented immigrants. This action was deemed unnecessary and unwarranted, since the churches were not suspected of any criminal activity or posing any threat to national security.

Furthermore, the persistent targeting of peaceful churches and religious groups has largely been fueled by political prejudice and religious profiling. For instance, the FBI has been known to profile individuals of Muslim faith, a move that has been criticized for fueling Islamophobia and discrimination against this religious group. This profiling has resulted in unwarranted surveillance, harassment, and other invasive actions, which have been deemed unconstitutional.

Such acts are a clear indication that the FBI’s priorities are misplaced, and it should reconsider its strategies. Instead of targeting peaceful churches, the FBI should focus on combating terrorism and identifying individuals and organizations that genuinely pose a threat to national security. By doing so, the agency can restore trust and confidence, as well as ensure the safety and security of all Americans, regardless of their religious affiliation.
