He is regarded by many as a strong candidate to win the Democratic nomination due to his name recognition, progressive views, and ability to energize voters.
Kennedy has been a vocal opponent of many of the Trump administration’s policies, particularly on climate change. President Biden is running for re-election as the sitting president. However, as long as Kennedy stays true to his beliefs and continues to build support among the Democratic base, he could emerge as the winner in the race for the Democratic nomination and potentially go toe to toe with whoever the Republicans decide to nominate.
