Americans for Intelligence Reform

Brad Johnson, President, and retired CIA Senior Officer and Chief of Staff. Insight into current events from an intelligence angle.

McFiles Network interview: Durham Report Looms, Deep State lies, China & Turkey

While this interview focuses on the Durham Report and (hopefully) the indictments coming from it, Brad Johnson and Christopher McDonald discuss more about the Deep State, the FBI, the pandemic, China, and Turkey. The threads come together as you will see. Brad is former CIA Chief of Station and President of Americans for Intelligence Reform. Links to related interviews below

I consider the tragedy of 9/11 to be a
01:24
total failure by the US government our
01:27
elected officials must make it their
01:29
number-one priority to keep America safe
01:32
from terrorism and international
01:34
criminal groups being switched on is a
01:37
daily decision a moment-by-moment choice
01:41
a constant awareness and mindset it is a
01:45
code of armor that protects you from all
01:47
types of threats in all aspects of life
01:50
we need to read the people in front of
01:52
us behind us on the phone in online that
01:56
could even be a time when being switched
01:58
on could save your very life seek
02:02
balance keep faith family first walk and
02:06
live with purpose and remember remain
02:09
switched on switched on the heart and
02:13

Christopher McDonald and the gatekeeper
02:36
to the Elvis Presley person that is
02:39
behind his garage there and don’t be
02:43
cruel baby don’t be cruel and I
02:45
understand
02:45
for Halloween Brad dresses up as Elvis
02:48
and they but don’t they actually believe
02:49
that he’s real Elvis when he’s got the
02:51
real Elvis behind his thing there it’s
02:53
good to see you Johnson you know I was
02:54
thinking about this said today we’re
02:56
going on almost two years knowing each
02:58
other I think I first interviewed you
03:00
all the way back in 2018 it’s hard to
03:02
believe that and it’s been a fun run
03:04
buddy and we always enjoy you coming on
03:06
the show to 9:00 tonight will be no
03:07
different and it’s always a pleasure we
03:10
already got a vibrant audience I was
03:11
watching the numbers just spiked and
03:13
we’re gonna have a really huge live
03:16
audience tonight let me just do a little
03:17
housecleaning here guys you’re watching
03:19
the live Mac file special tonight and me
03:21
and Brad are going to talk for about 40
03:23
minutes or so 45 we’ll take your
03:25
questions at the end so if you have any
03:27
questions save those till then police
03:29
say on topic in the chat room and
03:32
keep to what we’re going to be talking
03:34
about tonight we’re going to talk a
03:35
little about the Durham probe and some
03:36
other things that are going on in the
03:37
country and the world tonight and and
03:40
this is why we brought Brad on Brad
03:42
good to see you buddy it’s always a
03:45
pleasure let me just get you to sort of
03:47
jump off the schneid here a little bit
03:49
the big news is and I think that this
03:51
was signaled last week when the White
03:54
House chief of staff Mark meadows
03:55
publicly came out publicly literally and
03:58
he was not speaking as the senator any
04:00
long but representative he was speaking
04:02
as the White House voice and he made the
04:05
comment he said the Durham report is
04:08
coming and he said I like everybody else
04:10
are hoping and believing that there’s
04:13
going to be a rest that are going to be
04:14
made I’m over we’re over dude to see
04:17
arrests made and I found that striking
04:19
for a couple of reasons because normally
04:21
a White House and something like this
04:22
they may be secretly rooting for that
04:25
but it’s rare that they get out publicly
04:28
and say something about a probe like
04:29
that and meadows again what speaking as
04:32
a representative any longer he is the
04:34
White House chief of staff so that was
04:35
an official White House statement and
04:37
unless we know that this thing’s around
04:39
the corner that they know something that
04:41
there’s something about to bust on this
04:43
and I’ve heard several people tell me
04:45
that are close to sources in your neck
04:48
of the woods and other sources in the
04:49
country that this thing is no longer
04:52
becoming down the road this is an
04:54
imminent release and there gonna be hell
04:56
to pay for a lot of folks and a lot of
04:58
asses are going to be grass and John
05:00
Durham is gonna be the hall more well on
05:06
a personal basis I certainly hope that
05:09
there’s going to be all of those
05:10
indictments that you and I have talked
05:12
about in previous interviews and you
05:15
know including you know James clapper
05:17
and James Comey and former CIA director
05:23
John Brennan and all those I hope all of
05:25
those indictments are in fact true if
05:27
that list was accurate in and of itself
05:29
and there was nothing else I personally
05:32
would be thrilled could it could would
05:34
it be better if there were more yeah but
05:36
still that that list was was really
05:39
pretty pretty extensive so we’ll see now
05:42
there’s a lot of mixed messages coming
05:45
out of the
05:45
the area on this US Attorney General bar
05:49
said in an interview about three weeks
05:52
ago or so that this Durham report would
05:54
be out by the end of summer to me the
05:56
end of summer means the end of August
05:58
and so now we’re seeing mark Meadows say
06:00
similar things so I think within the
06:03
White House US Attorney General bar is
06:08
telling everybody yeah it’s it’s gonna
06:10
be out we’re wrapping it up now there
06:13
are there have been a number of
06:15
indications things I’ve mentioned before
06:17
but just so that’s the things like
06:18
certain individuals have lawyer DUP and
06:22
so they’re going to be aware in advance
06:25
if they’re a subject of the
06:27
investigation they’re going to know some
06:30
of the questions that are pending
06:31
because they’re given it an opportunity
06:33
during the investigation to present
06:37
information their own defense you know
06:39
to say oh no that’s not true look I can
06:41
look at this look at this look at this
06:42
so those that process is part of the
06:44
investigation now so those guys being
06:47
layered up is a good indication that
06:50
they’ve been approached and told a
06:51
you’re subject to this investigation
06:53
we’re looking at this this this so I
06:55
just don’t know now there’s a Judicial
06:58
Watch probably a lot of people here
07:00
familiar with them Tom but he does a lot
07:02
of a lot of interviews on Fox News and
07:05
stuff so fairly well-known guy and he’s
07:09
been out saying that his sources are
07:11
telling him there’s not a single
07:12
indictment on the list
07:13
now I’m maybe focusing a little stronger
07:18
than he did he was something to the
07:19
effect that he’s unaware a single one
07:21
being you know processed I just don’t
07:26
know I don’t know how well he’s connect
07:28
had never asked him that question not
07:30
that I would because it’d be kind of a
07:31
personal thing but I don’t know well how
07:33
well he knows people at DOJ Judicial
07:38
Watch their operations aren’t aimed at
07:41
DOJ and I don’t know how much they have
07:43
to do with those guys
07:45
so he may or may not know the inside
07:48
track on that but he’s fairly negative
07:50
about the whole thing but most of the
07:52
people I’m talking to some of whom I
07:55
know have fairly close connections to
07:57
DOJ
07:58
they’re saying there’s going to be
08:01
indictments so I don’t know I have my
08:04
fingers crossed
08:05
if there are no indictments out of this
08:07
we’re screwed I you know I weep for the
08:10
nation
08:10
I do feel breath just because we so
08:13
clearly know that the law was broken we
08:15
so clearly see the political corruption
08:17
out of it and in order to stop political
08:21
corruption you have to throw the book at
08:24
these guys because I saw this is that
08:26
the country has never been in this
08:28
territory before and as I’ve told you
08:30
I’ve come a long way on my thoughts on
08:32
this but having watched how deep and bad
08:35
these these problems are and how deep
08:37
the political corruption goes and the
08:40
depth to which they sank to do these
08:42
things if there are people who are
08:45
charged with treason or sedition or
08:48
trying to overthrow the government or
08:50
any of those sorts of things where the
08:52
death penalty could be invoked then I
08:55
think it is a big positive to do so and
08:59
because people have to be deterred from
09:02
attempting to overthrow the government
09:04
and this type of political corruption so
09:06
this is as big a deal as the Supreme
09:11
Court appointees is and maybe bigger so
09:15
I’m I’m very very interested to see how
09:19
this goes forward and it’s gonna say a
09:21
lot about Attorney General bar and US
09:24
Attorney General John Durham as well
09:28
just to see what kind of men they’re
09:29
yeah I’m with you there and you know I I
09:32
just don’t see how there can’t be
09:34
indictments and I would caution people
09:36
that Tom Benton’s not the Bible and I
09:39
know Tom I met him I made him in the
09:41
hallway at CPAC a couple years ago
09:43
seemed like pretty nice guy and I know a
09:45
lot of people listen to him I think that
09:47
Tom may be expressing a little bit of
09:49
frustration that a lot of us all are
09:51
feeling we’ve been waiting for this for
09:53
what four years now we’ve known this was
09:56
going on when this stuff first started
09:58
circulating and you know you mentioned
10:00
we’ll get to Peter stork in a minute
10:02
Brad but look at the very minimum if
10:05
John Durham is worth the salt look I
10:09
going back to one thing you said about
10:11
others
10:12
I believe the big fish are coming second
10:14
term for Trump look he this this cannot
10:17
turn into a circus for him politically
10:20
and that’s that’s the danger in trying
10:22
to force all this stuff in right now I
10:25
think if gear room goes after the
10:27
mid-level people’s store combing clapper
10:30
those that we know lied under oath to
10:32
Congress they lied probably under oath
10:34
to investigators and I think another key
10:38
date on the calendar is September the
10:40
9th and I’ll tell you why one Hillary
10:42
Clinton has to go under oath and testify
10:46
about her illegal server that is really
10:48
the root of some of this investigation
10:50
and also some of the root of the you
10:54
know because you wouldn’t even have
10:55
Russia gate if they wouldn’t have pushed
10:57
back on trunk course Trump was getting
10:59
close he was gonna go after on that so
11:01
they figured we got to concoct something
11:02
to get this guy out and you know you got
11:05
Comey uh that has said so many MS truce
11:09
I’m just thinking I’m willing right now
11:11
I’m willing to compromise a little bit
11:13
before the election let’s get a few mid
11:15
fish I think just eight one arrest just
11:17
one indictment I think we’ll get the
11:20
base fired up I will tell you something
11:22
I’m with you a thousand percent I don’t
11:23
know if you remember me and you’re
11:25
talking about this one night it’s been
11:26
several interviews back and we made a
11:29
comment he chose pop about a year ago
11:31
and we were going into 2020 thinking
11:35
we’re gonna let the durum pro pro play
11:38
out and you won’t forget something you
11:40
said at the end of the show and I’ll
11:42
remind you about it tonight because it
11:44
was it was very powerful and it’s stuck
11:46
with me it stuck with me since that
11:47
night and you said Chris if we don’t
11:49
have indictments when we get all this
11:51
over when all this is over with and we
11:53
get to the end and there’s no
11:55
indictments he said our conversation
11:57
will be different because at that point
11:59
we will pretty much be assured that we
12:04
have a two-tier justice system that we
12:06
have one justice system for the elites
12:07
and we have one justice system for Brad
12:09
Johnson and Chris MacDonald and Brad if
12:11
you have that there is no country
12:13
there’s no Constitution there’s no rule
12:15
of all and not one soul listening to us
12:17
tonight not one and it’s not- speak
12:20
folks this is something called reality
12:21
but not one of you are safe from
12:24
anything that
12:26
these actors are doing so yes it does a
12:29
lot rest on this case a lot arrest on
12:32
Durham and right now as far as we know
12:34
unless there’s some kind of secret thing
12:36
going on that none of us are aware about
12:37
the Durham probe and Jenson’s probe is
12:42
two things and I understand bars looking
12:45
into some things too and like I just I
12:48
don’t want justice to be swift and
12:50
sloppy I want it to be slow and
12:52
methodical and get it right that’s the
12:55
key to me I don’t want some swift kind
12:58
of let’s just appease the public and
13:00
indict a few folks and they walk into
13:02
the courtroom and walk back out I’m
13:04
gonna taste some Johnson I want to see
13:06
some nooses on this this is this is
13:07
sedition and treason I you know I’m a
13:10
big history person and I went back and
13:14
the 1865 trial of Mary surrett when she
13:19
became the only woman that was ever hung
13:21
in this nation for treason and she was
13:24
convicted with eight other conspirators
13:25
and the assassination of Abraham Lincoln
13:27
Brad I’d argue tonight President Trump
13:30
has not been assassinated physically but
13:32
what they’ve done to this man
13:33
politically and what they tried to do to
13:35
him is like an assassination to me it’s
13:38
been on an assassination on his
13:39
presidency that’s just I look at it I
13:42
agree with that assessment of this and
13:45
it is an attempted slow-moving coup you
13:49
know type of assassination and certainly
13:52
character assassination is just out of
13:54
control and the press and the Democrats
13:57
they’re all still at it I mean they’re
13:58
all still saying the same worn-out
14:01
nonsense my question out of this and
14:03
it’s one I have raised before but
14:05
President Trump put in a new director of
14:08
the FBI which is Christopher R a young
14:11
child been a fairly big critic of that
14:12
guy and this is it perfect all this stop
14:15
that comes out like what has just come
14:18
out the last strip or days where I know
14:21
I’m jumping ahead a little bit so
14:22
forgive me but where Peter where it’s
14:24
been documented under Graham released
14:26
the documents that were unclassified
14:28
they show that Peter strong who’s the
14:30
guy that forced the issue and created
14:33
the you know that where this special
14:35
prosecutor and all of that actually took
14:38
place to investigate Trump Urkel
14:39
he knew from the very beginning that it
14:42
was all false he knew every bit of it
14:44
was a lie he knew this gildo she wasn’t
14:47
wasn’t real intelligence and yet he
14:50
signed the FISA warrant requesting that
14:55
that that these guys be surveilled that
14:58
you know the people around Trump and
14:59
then that this was indeed based on solid
15:03
intelligence that is well depending on
15:06
how what that law set up on that that’s
15:08
it’s very least perjury or her drawn
15:10
sort of the crimes and how do you
15:13
something simple latent is that not all
15:16
no that’s the case now those liberals
15:20
who don’t care because they don’t care
15:23
if the laws are that’s why we have
15:25
activist judges and activists people
15:27
because they don’t care what the laws
15:29
are they only want what’s good for their
15:32
political views for the rest of us
15:34
normal people who are sane and never had
15:36
family out of armaments we recognize
15:40
that the laws are important to all for
15:42
all of us so the responsible people in
15:45
the United States see this stop and if
15:48
they can’t even indict on stuff like
15:50
that then okay say I weep for the
15:53
Republic what what what are we going to
15:55
do it would be clearly a two-tiered
15:57
system and one comment on that
15:59
I’ve lived in countries where the legal
16:02
system does not work and I want
16:05
everybody to understand what that means
16:07
that means if you have contracts and
16:09
you’re buying and selling and you have a
16:11
business or you’re part of a big company
16:13
that does business of whatever kind if
16:15
the legal system doesn’t work that means
16:18
you can’t enforce those legal deals so
16:21
if you want to buy you know a half a
16:25
million widgets at the cost of twenty
16:28
five million dollars from some company
16:30
you give them the money and they take it
16:33
and say okay so long thanks a lot sucker
16:35
the legal system doesn’t work you can’t
16:38
go after them so the way the legal
16:40
system evolves is through violence and
16:43
so the only guys you don’t screw with in
16:46
business are the ones where if you don’t
16:48
keep your word they’ll kill you and
16:50
that’s how business works in kind
16:53
trees where the legal system does not
16:55
work and I forgot to see even a hint of
16:59
that here this is very important new
17:02
territory uncharted territory and we’ve
17:04
just got to see the legal system work
17:06
and it has to work for all all of the
17:09
same Hillary Clinton Peter Straub James
17:13
Comey all of these guys cannot be above
17:17
the law
17:18
they have to you need to do the time for
17:21
the crime and I the general bar does not
17:32
hold that perspective near and dear I
17:34
mean he’s a career law enforcement guy
17:38
he should understand these things at you
17:41
know and the depths of his heart so I
17:44
don’t know I worry but I’m still fairly
17:47
confident me too I’m with you there and
17:50
and we were on so much the same page I
17:52
think funny there I I do want to ask you
17:54
this though about Ray I it’s almost like
17:58
it’s the fox guarding the hen house with
18:00
him and you know I’ve had a lot of
18:03
interesting things said because you got
18:05
to bring general Flynn into this
18:07
conversation Brad because look the judge
18:10
has been slapped down in that case and
18:12
he still still ain’t let the case go
18:14
even though this appeals court has told
18:15
him there’s nothing there you’ve got to
18:17
release plan and he still basically
18:20
obstructing justice and you know you
18:22
mentioned the judges and then you know
18:24
there’s rumors that president Truong
18:26
they be looking at Flynn to replace Ray
18:28
over the FBI which i think would be a
18:30
great choice but we got to get Flynn
18:31
free first and I just I feel there’s
18:37
something in me it feels dirty this
18:39
whole thing feels dirty this is in bold
18:41
in the left and that’s the other thing
18:43
that nobody talks about Brad we were
18:45
just what six months ago before all this
18:47
virus here we were talking impeachment
18:48
they were trying to impeach the
18:49
president over a sham
18:52
no no crime committed and what anything
18:55
he did and you wound up the house and
18:56
teaching him over nothing and if they
18:59
walk away from this without big enscape
19:01
themselves do we not think out here that
19:03
this is going to put gasoline on their
19:05
fire and all hell is coming
19:07
at the president and any of his partners
19:09
look they’re not just calling President
19:11
Trump racist anymore Brad they’re
19:13
calling us racist they’re not calling
19:14
President Trump fascist anymore they’re
19:17
calling us fascists they’re calling us
19:18
every name in the book his supporters is
19:20
what I’m talking about and and look and
19:23
again if if they can do it to him they
19:25
can do it to any of us and I just think
19:27
that’s the other things that’s that’s at
19:29
stake here it’s not just that justice is
19:31
not served it’s gonna embolden those
19:34
that have perverted the same justice
19:36
system to go do the very thing they did
19:38
the President Trump to a lot of other
19:40
people and who knows Brad Johnson might
19:43
be on that list one day Chris McDonough
19:45
may be on that list one day and anybody
19:47
listening to us may be on that list
19:48
that’s what’s at stake here I’m sure you
19:53
and I are on somebody’s list this is how
20:05
I mean I know what’s happening I
20:07
understand what’s happening but I find
20:09
it a real pity that that FBI director
20:14
ray does not look at this whole
20:17
situation and go the FBI at least at the
20:20
leadership level not necessarily out in
20:23
all the field offices but at the
20:25
leadership level the FBI is broken its
20:29
reputation is terrible right now we all
20:33
know we cannot trust the FBI at least
20:35
again at the leadership level you cannot
20:38
trust them because they are political
20:40
first and second and third and so they
20:43
excite and that’s not the objective of
20:47
law enforcement or the prosecutions in
20:49
the United States for criminal activity
20:50
it is supposed to be you neutral in that
20:53
sense that it’s they’re all going after
20:55
people that break the law they’re not
20:57
going after political opposition so
20:59
Christopher ray is sitting on this now I
21:01
like I said I understand why he does
21:04
this he does this because he thinks what
21:08
he’s doing is protecting the reputation
21:10
of the FBI
21:12
he doesn’t want all this stuff to come
21:14
out because it just continues to make
21:17
the FBI look worse and worse and worse
21:18
so he’s basically camp
21:21
all this stuck down with it you know
21:23
what in his mind that he is protecting
21:27
the reputation of the FBI but in effect
21:30
what he’s doing is precisely the
21:32
opposite he’s continuing to allow the
21:35
reputation of the FBI he said a rot
21:38
exactly and like I said no I don’t think
21:41
anybody out there and look at the FBI
21:43
who’s neutral and willing to look at the
21:46
facts as they are and say that this is
21:49
to an organization that’s only enforcing
21:51
the law yeah you know there’s no
21:52
political shenanigans going on I don’t
21:54
think anybody in their right mind and
21:56
you look at the situation and say that
21:58
and yet what does Christopher Ray do to
22:01
fix the problem to get rid of the bad
22:03
apples to get the FBI back on track and
22:06
to make their reputation back to what it
22:09
should be where right now what we really
22:12
need to be talking about is case should
22:14
the FBI continue as it currently is and
22:18
I think the answer is no that’s the
22:20
point
22:20
I mean I think we need reforms in the
22:22
FBI the FBI is a major intelligence
22:25
player which is kind of the purpose of
22:27
Americans from judgments of form and I’m
22:28
looking at it going I’m like true can
22:31
even be fixed with who’s there yeah and
22:34
but certainly allowing law enforcement
22:37
combined with intelligence has what’s
22:40
got us in this mess right now I mean and
22:42
if that if guys like Christopher ray
22:44
aren’t all over this getting it fixed
22:47
making sure their reputation is above
22:49
reproach which he’s not doing then
22:52
clearly it’s a mistake to have the FBI
22:54
continue in its current form where
22:56
they’ve got intelligence functions
22:59
combined with their Criminal Division if
23:02
you will the larger Criminal Division
23:04
and the smaller counterintelligence CI
23:07
shop provision that they maintain that
23:09
probably needs to be broken apart yeah
23:12
excellent buddy and it’s good stuff
23:15
there and I will keep monitoring this I
23:17
I know that there’s a lot of moving
23:18
pieces still and out you know look I’m
23:20
willing to give I’m Lu I’m willing to
23:22
give bar and you’re like I said while
23:24
ago I don’t want something Swift and
23:26
sloppy I want them to go by the book I
23:28
don’t care how long it takes the only
23:30
thing I’m concerned about and we’ll move
23:32
on to something else after this I just
23:33
we’re getting
23:34
the political season we were already
23:36
there really but the closer you get to
23:38
the fall all of this and it it this is
23:41
the danger reflect why the delay is so
23:43
dangerous is because of the political
23:45
nature of it and you know the media
23:48
they’re all they’re already doing it
23:49
anyway but they’re gonna twist this and
23:51
it’s gonna look like again even though
23:54
it’s not Trump’s fault trunk didn’t do
23:56
this you know people forget Trump didn’t
23:58
spy on Obama it was Obama spying on
24:00
Trump it was not Trump spying on James
24:03
Comey it was James Comey spying on Trump
24:05
it was not Trump that having the illegal
24:06
server in his frickin kitchen basement
24:08
it was Hillary Clinton it was not Trump
24:10
they did not go into an FBI interview
24:12
not even put under oath and as softball
24:15
questions and house Hilary’s doing a
24:17
house Chelsea’s wedding coming along on
24:19
a tarmac it was Hillary Clinton and Bill
24:22
Clinton
24:22
so all this ball shift about its being
24:25
you know this is Trump’s going after his
24:27
enemies crap is just that it’s bullshit
24:29
but Brad you and I both know in the
24:31
atmosphere we’re in right now in this
24:33
country anything that is done I say
24:36
after September the first you get into
24:39
that little I call it the red zone like
24:42
a football field you know within the
24:44
twenty it’s called the red zone and I
24:45
think you get within the red zone of the
24:48
election and it’s gonna look worse than
24:50
later this gets then the sooner that’s
24:53
why I’m hoping I’m hoping that if it’s
24:56
done before August 31st then then it
24:59
won’t look as political even though
25:01
they’ll try to make it out is it would
25:02
it could happen in September
25:03
mid-september so we’ll see
25:05
I’ll just well I play about here but I’m
25:07
with you a thousand percent everything
25:09
you just said about this tonight it’s
25:10
good stuff and we’ll keep monitoring it
25:12
and I know you will you and Elvis will
25:14
keep me informed with something breaks
25:16
up there we’ll bring you back on real
25:17
quick and we’ll we’ll do the jailhouse
25:19
rock you know that’d be pretty fun I’m
25:21
gonna play the jailhouse rock when these
25:23
indictments come down that’s gonna be
25:24
hard it’s gonna be your theme song
25:26
Johnson the the jailhouse rock and get
25:29
you to kick me with a copyright claim
25:31
for that one I want to turn to
25:34
international stuff you’ve got some
25:36
international news you said you I didn’t
25:38
ask you internationally on this saying
25:40
about China your background what you’ve
25:43
gone through all these years with CIA
25:46
you’ve had a lot of dealings with the
25:47
Chinese
25:48
and they are there that’s a wicked much
25:52
over there buddy that’s just a wicked
25:53
bunch and I’m just curious when you’re
25:57
watching all this play out this virus we
25:58
talked about inspires a lot
26:01
is there any going to be any justice for
26:03
the Chinese so my justice for these deep
26:05
Staters over here I think there’s some
26:07
international justice that needs to be
26:09
dealt to this freakin CCP government I
26:11
don’t know if it’s gonna happen but it
26:13
sure as hell needs to that’s how I feel
26:15
I there maybe there is some building I
26:21
would say confidence in the information
26:24
that the origins of the coded virus are
26:32
you know I think it’s fairly conclusive
26:35
let me put it this way that the kovat
26:37
originated out of their room and lab yes
26:39
I think that it’s fairly clear or fairly
26:42
conclusive now the Chinese are pushing
26:45
back on this and they certainly have
26:46
people here in the United States that
26:48
are on the payroll or believers in the
26:51
Chinese system or just hate Trump or
26:53
whatever more but they’re plenty of
26:55
people here the United States that are
26:57
willing to play up the Chinese
26:59
propaganda on this issue which of course
27:01
is a lie is I mean we know their law
27:03
whatever it is they’re saying if they’re
27:04
talking they’re lying and I think that
27:08
there’s a building consensus that first
27:12
of all I came from the Lu Han lab right
27:14
second of all there’s starting to be a
27:17
lot of rumblings about whether this is a
27:19
virus that has been man-made or
27:23
manipulated by man and that it’s not
27:26
naturally occurring and there’s becoming
27:28
more and more kind of noise in that
27:30
direction and we’ve heard Mike Pompeo
27:34
this u.s. secretary state came out with
27:36
a speech a few days back maybe within
27:39
the last week talking about holding
27:41
China responsibility for these
27:43
responsible for these things and
27:44
certainly it’s clear that they were
27:47
aware of this long before they went
27:49
public and as it’s something I’ve
27:51
mentioned before we’re really broke and
27:54
in back in November when they started
27:57
stockpiling all of the medical supplies
28:00
like masks
28:01
they knew and why didn’t they report it
28:05
this is my personal opinion but it was
28:07
just before the Chinese New Year the
28:09
Chinese New Year is the biggest cash
28:11
inflow a period of time from the entire
28:15
Chinese economy and they didn’t want to
28:17
lose the money so they allowed all of
28:19
this to go forward they stockpiled
28:21
everything they could get their hands on
28:23
knowing what was coming but allowed
28:25
Chinese New Year to go forward everybody
28:27
then moves out into the world and
28:29
infects the world that’s where we saw
28:31
these infections come out of nowhere
28:33
that got big in Italy in the different
28:34
countries around the world where we saw
28:36
it just exploded onto the scene and one
28:39
of those guys come from you know the
28:40
vast majority of this came out of that
28:42
Chinese New Year celebrations back in
28:44
you know the motherland China so I think
28:47
it was money was at a minimum the
28:50
problem it doesn’t mean that they didn’t
28:53
also meant you know work this in as a
28:57
way to attack the rest of the world
29:00
destroy Hong Kong hopefully destroyed
29:03
Taiwan which appears to completely
29:05
failed but also to destroy or attack or
29:08
diminish the economies of the
29:10
competitors in the West like the United
29:12
States and Europe and if you look at it
29:15
from that perspective it was largely
29:16
successful so I think that there there
29:19
is acknowledgement that somewhere
29:24
between or including both of those
29:27
elements is where the truth lies yeah
29:29
and so it’s going to take a while to
29:32
bring all that out and prove it and all
29:34
that sort of stuff but I’ve the lot of
29:36
you know detailed chitchat over those
29:39
issues and a lot of people even in
29:41
Europe are starting to go you know China
29:43
is responsible for this I know I’ve
29:45
heard um yeah so we’ll see we’ll see how
29:48
that goes but justice really against
29:51
China and how would you enforce it I
29:53
don’t know so it’d be tough to have make
29:56
anything actually happen you know you
29:58
could do you know take measures against
30:01
their economy and you know consciously
30:03
stuff as compensation for what they did
30:06
so that they couldn’t use the
30:07
international banking system but you
30:10
know the Chinese would fight back
30:12
yeah I’ve got some effective things to
30:14
do I don’t know you
30:15
to go to war over this and actually have
30:17
a shoot-’em-up I don’t know I mean
30:21
personally I’ve been quite aggressive on
30:23
it if it were up to me Oh where’s it’s
30:25
not but you know I would say I’m you
30:28
know I’m not really afraid of the
30:29
Chinese military if they they want to if
30:31
they want to start pulling trigger well
30:33
you know will with me they might start
30:35
it but we’re going to end it with mental
30:36
and you better believe had yeah I that
30:39
would be kind of mine my take on the
30:41
whole thing but we’ll see it’s not to me
30:42
let’s just say that a Johnson Mac ticket
30:48
I think would work because I I’ll be
30:51
your vice president or you be the VP
30:52
depends on which one of us would be more
30:55
apt to lead but I will say this if
30:57
president McDonald was in office tonight
30:59
the Chinese would have so many
31:01
terrorists put on them right now and I
31:03
was sensing them so bad they would think
31:05
Fred Flintstone and Wilma and Barney and
31:09
what was the wife of Barney and the
31:11
Flintstone Delma or whatever they would
31:15
be back in the frickin Stone Age Johnson
31:17
I’m gonna tell you something they would
31:18
be back in the frickin Stone Age and
31:20
they would be doing those sticks
31:22
together you know how you have the
31:26
original they claim the original people
31:28
who did the sticks to get like the
31:29
Chinese we do and am i doing that
31:31
against Chinese people but I would
31:32
triple that government I would make sure
31:34
that government never did this again and
31:36
I look I think the United States is the
31:39
only nation out there that has a real
31:40
power to do it and we have Mike to do
31:42
and we have the willpower to do it right
31:44
now now we get a Joe Biden president say
31:45
Joe Vaughn’s going to bow down like all
31:47
these Democrats are bowing down the
31:48
black lives matter and Aunty he’ll get
31:50
on his face and kiss these shoes and
31:52
shines these shoes and tell his Chinese
31:54
come on back in and screw us over for
31:55
the next four years now because as Trump
31:58
has stopped all that that goes all back
32:00
in Reverse if in the nightmarish world
32:02
that Joe Biden gets elected and that’s
32:05
another story for another time
32:07
interesting stuff do you did to China
32:15
but it goes a little bit deeper um on
32:18
the international scene why do you think
32:20
that America is going backwards right
32:23
now with the restrictions instead of
32:26
going forward you know since I’ve talked
32:27
to you last it looked like the last time
32:29
we had are in
32:29
last time did a live show the country
32:32
had began to breathe again a little bit
32:33
at least most states had started sort of
32:36
lifting some of the harsh restrictions
32:38
that they had in the spring and Brad
32:41
here we are a month later month and a
32:42
half later buddy and I’m gonna tell you
32:45
something it feels worse than it did
32:46
March to me it feels worse now and we
32:50
were joking about how hot it was up in
32:52
your neck of the woods and mine and you
32:54
know I’m just no common South Georgia
32:56
boy here but I was told that virus is
32:58
dying the heat they don’t expand but the
33:01
listen to these people talk we got
33:02
another spread of the Koba night they
33:05
did in the country and the heat if am I
33:07
missing something here you know I I
33:11
guess you know that’s another one of
33:13
those things it’s it’s it’s so hard to
33:16
tell what’s true because all there isn’t
33:19
any data that it’s particularly clear
33:21
and inconclusive that’s that we can look
33:24
at it oh okay yeah this is true because
33:26
it’s constantly in conflict different
33:29
you could say different things and even
33:31
among the the people on the left you
33:34
know the that are in the government that
33:36
are reporting on the different agencies
33:38
and stuff involved even their
33:40
information conflict and wildly you know
33:42
there are different than each other and
33:44
so I mean some of the stuff that we do
33:48
see that is concrete for example even
33:52
though they keep saying the numbers are
33:53
going up and in Florida the numbers are
33:55
going up and here they’re going up and
33:56
here they’re going up the the actual
33:58
number of people dying is going down
34:01
exactly and exact it’s continuing to go
34:04
down so what does that mean if these
34:07
numbers are going up through the roof
34:09
but people dying is going down as a
34:11
statistic you know something’s wrong
34:13
with what we’re being told and so I mean
34:17
it may be a thing of where the youth you
34:21
know the 20 year olds that know they’re
34:23
not going to probably die of it anyway
34:24
and if they get it they may not even
34:26
know they’re gonna get it I think it’s
34:28
just those guys have gone back to the
34:30
bar scene and they’re hanging out and I
34:31
mean let’s face it you know the eyes in
34:35
their 20s and the young girls are you
34:38
know it’s it it’s hard to keep them
34:41
apart thick you know so
34:43
as they’re going around on the bar scene
34:45
and dancing and you know smooching and
34:46
all the different things that go on I
34:48
think that it’s spreading among the
34:50
youth but they’re just they’re just not
34:52
the people that are dying and the older
34:54
people and the people that the people
34:55
that are susceptible have some other
34:57
Elliot problem that’s it are staying the
35:00
heck out of the way and so they’re not
35:03
getting sick because they know better
35:04
they know it’s too risky too dangerous
35:07
and they’re just not they just don’t
35:08
wanna go down that path out of fear
35:10
that’ll just kill ya and so they’re
35:13
staying saving and you know isolate not
35:16
isolated necessarily but you know not
35:18
going out in crowded public areas well
35:22
Brett I think it’s that just some degree
35:24
yeah let me just interject this not
35:26
interruption but I what you’re talking
35:28
about brought to mind something I read
35:30
yesterday in our local paper here state
35:33
of Tennessee has as of yesterday
35:36
actually had increased their testing
35:38
they’ve been out of the state testing
35:40
we’ve had 1.2 million tests given in the
35:43
state of Tennessee as of yesterday which
35:45
was the 20th okay
35:46
well the local newspapers here in my
35:49
neck of the woods in Knoxville every
35:51
single day they have had this update and
35:54
they these cases have been steadily
35:56
going up up up up up up they never
35:59
report they only reported it was
36:01
yesterday for the first time that they
36:03
put those cases in relation to the test
36:06
well we had 79 thousand four hundred and
36:08
seventy four cases not deaths but that’s
36:11
the number of total cases in our state
36:13
okay and I got a calculator out and I
36:16
figured it that’s about a little over
36:19
five point six six point five it’s
36:20
between five and six percent of infected
36:23
people out of 1.2 million think about
36:25
this okay
36:26
now the death rate of that 1.2 million
36:29
test is not even 1% and it’s like a 99
36:34
percent survival rate if you kept this
36:36
which and I would never be stupid enough
36:39
to look into this camera and tell her
36:41
about it there’s not a virus going
36:42
around oh yeah there’s a virus going
36:43
around without a doubt and it’s a strain
36:46
it’s a weird strain I’ve talked to
36:48
medical people talk to my own doctor and
36:50
he’s sadly had a bad situation happen to
36:55
him but you know my last call
36:57
sation with him and he told me he said
36:59
and he was sort of laughing about he
37:01
said Chris I’ve been studying
37:02
coronaviruses since I’ve been in medical
37:04
school and that was fifty years ago and
37:06
he said we’ve always had coronaviruses
37:08
in this country and he said we haven’t
37:09
called him what we’ve called this one
37:11
but he said we’ve always had this stuff
37:13
and he said I’ve seen he said I saw this
37:14
stuff in the fall he said I saw the
37:16
symptoms of the corona virus in my
37:18
offices because he runs a little clinic
37:19
a random little clinic down South
37:21
Georgia
37:21
he said I’m seeing this stuff before all
37:23
this stuff became pandemic but Brad is
37:26
the desk to me if we were having a
37:28
surgeon desk I would be less angry about
37:31
what I’m seeing in our states but buddy
37:33
I’m just gonna ask you a question is
37:35
this not tyranny to you what these
37:36
governors and these mayors are doing to
37:38
our cities its tyranny well there’s no
37:42
question whatsoever that this is a grab
37:43
for power and just naked grab for power
37:47
and if a governor can and make these
37:50
decrees and make them stick where you
37:53
have to wear a mask and you have to be
37:55
this way and do that Matt Matt Matt a
37:58
year down the line or two years down the
38:01
line he can certainly things about drove
38:05
your card you need to be taking public
38:07
transportation is he gonna prohibit all
38:10
traffic going into downtown and making
38:13
it one giant pedestrian area and things
38:15
like that I mean this is where they’re
38:17
headed with all that stuff and you know
38:19
the left they always want absolute
38:21
control over your life we all know that
38:24
you know they want to dictate what car
38:26
you can drive we know they hate SUVs we
38:29
know that they want to dictate how much
38:31
the toilet paper you use when you go to
38:33
the bathroom
38:34
I mean they want to control everything
38:37
they want to control the size of the
38:39
motor in your vacuum cleaner and you
38:42
know all of this stuff they want control
38:43
over all of it and this is a way for
38:46
them to start the process of imposing
38:49
their will on your toilet paper and the
38:52
rest of your life I mean for God’s sake
38:54
really
38:55
stay stay away from the toilet paper you
38:57
know yeah nobody’s business it’s unreal
39:01
man and again I I don’t want to belabor
39:04
the point I think we’ve talked enough
39:07
about this but I will say that I
39:10
I just is so sinister and you know if
39:12
you get down to it I’m not so sure it
39:15
ain’t all tied in to the Durham report
39:17
what we talked about the beginning of
39:18
the show I think a lot of this diversion
39:19
a lot of the stuff that they’ve done
39:21
what they done with a sickness I’ll just
39:26
say what my brother said to me to you
39:27
and we’re going to move on to
39:29
international stuff but my brother was
39:33
talking to me the other day and he said
39:34
bro he said he said I know these deep
39:36
state bastards are a bunch of bastards
39:38
he said I get it he said they’re just
39:40
wicked evil SOPs he said but even I in
39:45
my cynical self he said I could never
39:48
have dreamed that they would weaponize a
39:51
flu bug basically a strain of a flu bug
39:55
tear a country to pieces tear our
39:57
economy to pieces tear President Trump
39:59
to pieces with it claim he’s incompetent
40:01
overthrow a government with it
40:03
overthrow governments of the world with
40:05
it and molding the Chinese and just
40:08
literally bring America to its knees
40:10
literally over a course of three or four
40:13
months over something that again we’ve
40:16
had for decades decades in this country
40:19
and he said I can’t even believe they
40:20
would do this but Brad the truth of the
40:22
matter is they’re that evil they’re that
40:23
wicked and like you’ve dealt with some
40:25
despicable characters over your lifetime
40:28
but at bunch of DC brother I’m not so
40:30
sure that mentioned DC don’t make some
40:32
of the people you dealt with your career
40:33
look like a bunch of choir boys myself
40:35
just just a thought yes you know you
40:39
touch on an interesting point there and
40:41
then it is I mean I’ve also lived in in
40:44
socialist countries in my background and
40:47
and work and so on and it’s one of those
40:51
things where you see how that philosophy
40:54
on left lends itself and I would just
40:57
say we’re you and I and normal people
41:00
look at what’s good for us all what’s
41:02
bad for us all right and wrong and and
41:04
and these sorts of things that’s not the
41:07
analysis that goes through the mind of a
41:09
socialist a socialist will view the
41:12
world based on controlling the
41:14
population so that it does everything
41:16
that they want and so anything that
41:20
detracts from that control is
41:23
is unimportant or evil and must be you
41:26
know destroyed or addressed in some way
41:28
and everything that adds to that control
41:31
is good that’s the party’s will so it’s
41:34
why that philosophy lends itself to just
41:37
mass murder and you know socialists and
41:41
communists are there philosophically
41:44
able to justify mass murder and that’s
41:46
why we see other nationalist socialist
41:49
of Hitler Stalin Chairman Mao and by
41:53
legs a chairman now killed more people
41:55
than any of them back then Stalin Hitler
41:58
you know he was the lesser evil among
42:00
those three guides factor than yet on
42:02
the left today many of them still admire
42:04
Stalin still admired chairman now that’s
42:07
just it’s insanity
42:09
but it’s that admiration for control and
42:12
you hear left us on TV and and
42:14
interviews even to this day talking
42:17
about how they admire the control that
42:20
the Chinese have over their population
42:22
and so that is the optic through which
42:27
they view the world and well that you
42:32
know you and I look at that but wow that
42:35
is hideous evil but that’s not how they
42:38
view it they view that as them as the
42:41
natural state of what affairs should be
42:44
so therefore everything is measured
42:47
against how it contributes to that or
42:49
detracts from that so it’s it’s the
42:52
philosophy philosophy of socialism which
42:54
not look state to everyone the world
42:57
would be a way better place if communism
43:02
and socialism did not exist great point
43:04
there will be more justice and social
43:07
justice in every way there is to measure
43:09
if socialism and communism were
43:13
eradicated from the face of the earth we
43:15
would all prosper we would all be safer
43:18
of the world would be a far far better
43:20
place
43:21
excellent point there but I I’ll give
43:24
you a standing ovation on that statement
43:25
alone that’s best statement of the night
43:27
right there and you’re right I mean you
43:29
look at the millions Brad that’s not
43:32
that’s not just kill thousands of people
43:33
this is millions of people since the
43:36
turn of the century that had
43:37
and people forget that it was a National
43:40
Socialist Party of Germany that base
43:43
that entered into a genocide that that
43:45
ultimately cost six million Jews their
43:47
life that was socialism at its that it
43:49
at his pure form what you saw Germany do
43:52
in the 1930s with to the Jewish people
43:54
that’s socialism what Stalin did to the
43:57
Jews and other parties and gypsies
43:59
anybody that they didn’t agree with they
44:01
removed him another one pawpaw in
44:03
Cambodia basically did the purge of the
44:06
middle class and and literally went
44:07
after people just like me and you I mean
44:09
he didn’t he didn’t make no bones about
44:11
it he didn’t want a middle class he
44:12
wanted the poor and the rich he wanted
44:14
to establish a system that the poor had
44:16
to depend on the rich for their
44:18
sustenance and the only thing standing
44:20
between that was the group that he went
44:21
out and purged Cambodia of to the tune
44:24
of close to a 10 million people 10 or 20
44:26
million people that died in that and
44:28
that purge of Pol Pot and this younger
44:32
generation don’t understand that they
44:34
maybe do that they don’t want to
44:36
understand it they just they they blow
44:38
that off and they don’t think that’s the
44:39
threat to them today they think well we
44:41
just live que sera sera
44:42
and we want this free stuff and who want
44:45
Bernie Sanders and BR beer and Brad what
44:48
they don’t realize that the same
44:49
ideology of Bernie Sanders is the same
44:52
ideology of Hitler Stalin Mao Pol Pot
44:55
and every socialist that has ever lived
44:57
on this planet it’s the same identical
45:00
thing it’s just been wrapped up a little
45:03
better here in America because you got a
45:05
stupid media out there and you’ve got
45:07
stupid individuals I don’t think and
45:10
you’ve got kids walking around brainless
45:12
because they were never had their ass
45:14
beat when they were at home by their
45:16
parents and telling how to respect
45:17
authority and that’s just a little Mack
45:19
files a little social justice moment
45:21
tonight but I’m gonna take something
45:22
that would solve a lot of problems too
45:24
if we yang cannot these youngins and say
45:26
think before you go off on this ideology
45:29
that’s gonna wind up killing you
45:30
it’s got to wind up being your death yep
45:35
very dangerous and yeah absolutely kills
45:38
people and gets people killed and yeah
45:40
I’m it’s unfortunate that the
45:42
educational system in the United States
45:44
is in the sad state that it is and let’s
45:47
let’s not forget the FBI only just
45:49
started to investigate
45:51
how deeply into our educational system
45:53
the Chinese have gotten and it’s almost
45:56
you know every week or two that goes by
45:58
somebody else is either being indicted
46:01
or you know or chased out and fired out
46:05
of the university and research centers
46:07
happen and this goes all the way down
46:09
yes a primary school yeah you see you
46:12
know this such-and-such Institute
46:15
colleagues you know grade school through
46:17
high school this thing and then gee
46:19
guess what we have you know we have
46:21
Chinese language for you and all that
46:23
stumble over there they’re imposing that
46:25
culture and they’re educating these kids
46:29
subsidizing the education to bring them
46:31
along in their system teach them out
46:33
great communism is and have these great
46:36
little spies or agents of influence
46:38
running around the United States and
46:40
fifteen or twenty years when they’re
46:41
graduated and now I’m getting jobs
46:43
powerful stuff buddy hey I want actually
46:45
put two quick questions because we’re
46:47
running out we got about ten minutes one
46:49
quick question Chinese hackers got
46:51
arrested that or if you’re the story
46:53
there’s an increase of the cybersecurity
46:56
tax Brad a lot of hacks are coming in
46:59
from China and they’re going after of
47:01
all things Cova nineteen research these
47:04
hackers that got arrested today got
47:06
arrested for hacking into a company and
47:10
they were trying to eliminate the
47:12
research of these companies and the FBI
47:14
think bill bar and Department of Justice
47:17
arrests of these guys that’s one
47:19
question are you seeing an uptick in
47:21
that I think that’s another thing that
47:23
we don’t talk about how much of a
47:24
cybersecurity threat the Chinese are to
47:26
the country you know this firsthand
47:27
because they have you have faced this
47:30
head-on through your career and you know
47:32
that’s exactly what they’re it’s not
47:34
just a global physical war they want
47:36
bread they’re trying to beat us cyber Li
47:39
they’re trying to go into our our life
47:41
man because the computers aren’t life
47:43
now and that’s a great threat to our
47:44
country is it not
47:45
oh absolutely is a huge threat and just
47:48
a so so so many ways and your medical
47:52
records and the electrical grid system
47:54
and thing after thing after thing and
47:56
III what the bad news is out of all of
47:59
this is that this has been going on for
48:03
full steam
48:04
for more than a decade and nothing was
48:08
done about it at all
48:10
and we’ve seen and just let every let me
48:13
remind everyone because this is not a
48:14
big news item but what now probably five
48:17
years ago or so
48:19
the Chinese hacked the Office of
48:22
Personnel Management OPM site and stole
48:26
every piece of information for every
48:28
person who res any federal employee or
48:31
who had ever applied for federal
48:34
employment or was retired from federal
48:37
employment they had all of that
48:39
information out of the Office of
48:41
Personnel Management I mean the the
48:45
damage that they can do with that is
48:48
incredible yes and nobody did anything
48:51
and what was it like three years ago
48:54
the Dianne Feinstein senator Feinstein
48:58
from California was was told that her
49:01
longtime well as a 20 year employee and
49:05
was it had been a spy for the Chinese so
49:08
far and nobody did anything about that’s
49:11
right yeah you know he never saw
49:14
anything of any value no that’s it
49:16
so thing after thing after thing you
49:18
know during the Clinton election Chinese
49:21
intelligence was running money through
49:23
that guy out in California they’ve got
49:24
indicted went to jail James we made I’m
49:27
doing this they’ve been doing this stuff
49:29
forever and only in 2019 I believe might
49:34
have been the end of 2018
49:35
did the FBI get the orders the marching
49:38
orders to go after this stuff it’s quite
49:41
only now in the last year have we seen
49:44
any sort of serious counterintelligence
49:48
effort take place to go target these
49:50
Chinese and I have to say you know kudos
49:53
to President Trump and thank God it’s so
49:56
long overdue hopefully it’s not too
49:58
little too late yep well we had got a
50:01
dear friend lives in an Alabama Blake
50:03
first of all his good guy and he was
50:06
whistleblower for some of that stuff
50:08
that you mentioned wrote a great book
50:10
about it and we had time to talk about
50:12
that tonight but you’re right on target
50:14
maybe you not think next time we come on
50:16
we made we
50:18
they dedicate a whole show to the cyber
50:19
threat to this country I think that
50:21
being intriguing discussion with you and
50:23
we may get into that next time we would
50:25
get together on this hey I know you got
50:27
some international news I want you to
50:28
talk about five minutes we’re going to
50:29
start taking questions Turkey is sort of
50:32
rearing its head in the Middle East and
50:33
you’ve got some information tonight I
50:35
want you to share with our people
50:36
because we just don’t bring Johnson on
50:39
because he looks good in the suit and
50:40
he’s got Elvis behind him we actually
50:42
bring him on because he’s smart and he
50:44
knows what’s going on around the world
50:45
but tell us what turkeys doing tonight
50:47
because that’s an intriguing thing what
50:48
they’re doing trying to get in the
50:50
middle of Armenia and as Becker Stan
50:52
tell us a little bit what’s going on
50:54
yeah it’s kind of interesting and we’ve
50:56
talked a little bit in the past not not
50:59
huge amounts about Turkey but a couple
51:02
of new items on that turkey just did
51:06
something in in some ways it’s largely
51:09
symbolic but what they took they did
51:11
they took the main Christian Church
51:14
Hagia Sophia that’s in Constantinople
51:19
was the old name Istanbul is what it’s
51:20
called today but it was the seat of the
51:23
Eastern Church the Eastern Christian
51:27
Church early in the early days and that
51:31
was captured by the Ottoman Empire and
51:34
converted to a mosque and in the 1920s
51:40
when the Ottoman Empire fell apart and
51:42
Ataturk took over where he was creating
51:46
a modern Turkey that wasn’t an Islamic
51:48
Republic and all and he changed that
51:50
into a museum interesting and what the
51:53
current president of Turkey did last
51:55
week was he reconverted it into a mosque
51:59
and at the speech that he gave there it
52:03
was basically in that speech he
52:07
basically said we’re going to eradicate
52:10
Israel and we’re going to bury the West
52:14
and Christianity and he it just it
52:18
cannot be more clear that he fully
52:21
intends to reinstate the Ottoman Empire
52:23
to rebuild the Meo Ottoman Empire with
52:27
himself of course as you know you have
52:30
to take over the world yes but
52:32
self in charge right so that’s what he’s
52:34
doing now this is again playing out in
52:36
just so many areas we see that happening
52:39
in the northern part of Syria where
52:41
Turkey has claimed a swath of that area
52:44
as a buffer to the Kurds which basically
52:47
he’s trying to go kill them all and they
52:50
you’ve got some Russians and Turkish
52:53
troops and a few Americans left in the
52:55
area 580 and they’re confronting each
52:57
other so there’s actual troops and their
52:59
surrogates
53:00
all kind of fighting in there in
53:02
different ways but that’s expanded they
53:04
made this deal with this treaty with
53:07
Libya that creates this the the
53:10
mediterranean sea zone between those
53:13
countries they claim as their little
53:16
areas of influence to do with what they
53:18
want and of course what lies in their
53:20
will greece so basically all of the
53:24
islands and the territories of the greek
53:26
islands
53:26
turkey is claiming because of this
53:28
treaty with libya ownership of that to
53:31
control it which they view greece in
53:34
that area and europe as theirs because
53:38
almost all of europe had been conquered
53:41
by the Ottoman Empire
53:42
so they view those resources and all of
53:45
those all those areas as legitimately
53:48
belonging to Turkey and that it has been
53:50
illegally and immorally stolen away from
53:54
them by these Christian countries so
53:56
they have to be subjugated and those
53:58
resources taken back because they belong
54:00
to Turkey and so they’re there they’re
54:05
making a powerful move using the Muslim
54:08
Brotherhood in Europe they are getting
54:11
Europe to back their puppet government
54:14
in Libya they are moving on the Greek
54:19
islands and waters for the resources
54:21
that are there we’re seeing other areas
54:25
play out one of the new things that I
54:27
kind of wanted to mention is what we now
54:29
see in a little out-of-the-way place
54:31
called nagorno-karabakh now this is an
54:34
area that’s been fought over by
54:37
Azerbaijan and Armenia basically since
54:40
the breakup of the Soviet Union and it
54:43
was left over fighting and
54:45
they each make their own claims and
54:47
there’s long term claims and things that
54:49
happen you know two hundred years ago
54:51
about why this territory should belong
54:53
to so-and-so and the Armenians say it’s
54:55
a historical land of theirs from you
54:57
know a thousand years ago and you have
55:00
all of these arguments back and forth
55:01
those who legitimately should control
55:03
this property right I don’t really want
55:06
to comment on that aspect of it they
55:07
both make their arguments and forcefully
55:10
but what’s what’s the practical aspect
55:13
of this is now you have Turkey and
55:15
Azerbaijan by the way is a is a Turkic
55:18
country the people there are essentially
55:20
Turkish and the place will be get mad at
55:24
me for saying that but the language they
55:25
speak is that is a Turkish language and
55:28
the redline is a Turkish blood line and
55:30
all that so Turkey is backing Azerbaijan
55:33
and the fighting started a few weeks ago
55:35
where they I mean they’re they’ve
55:37
destroyed some tanks and armored
55:39
vehicles and they’re playing troops and
55:41
they have drone attacks and all this
55:43
sort of stuff is going on the fighting
55:44
is beginning to heat up so you have
55:46
Russia who’s backing the Armenian
55:49
Republic and you’ve got Turkey that’s
55:51
backing the Azerbaijani so this is again
55:54
another surrogate war are taking place
55:57
that is starting to heat up
55:58
and what turkey has said is they will
56:02
now pay according to al-jazeera
56:04
reporting which you know I wouldn’t take
56:06
it as complete confirmation but what
56:09
they’re reporting is that Turkey is
56:11
offering $2,500 per month which is big
56:14
money for these guys to fighters in that
56:17
northern sloth of of Syria where they’ve
56:22
got experienced fighters and in some of
56:24
the camps where they’ve got some people
56:26
that got some actual combat time so
56:28
they’re looking to bring in and it
56:30
wouldn’t take very many I’m just picking
56:31
a number out of the air because I don’t
56:33
know how many they would bring in but if
56:34
you took five hundred seasoned combat
56:38
veterans and brought them into
56:41
Azerbaijan to fight the Armenians that
56:43
would be hugely significant because the
56:46
numbers of need and these armies are not
56:48
huge and so they have this sudden influx
56:51
of even a few hundred experienced
56:53
fighters would be a huge deal and you
56:56
would probably then have Azerbaijan
56:59
a breakthrough in a certain area and
57:02
then if they start rolling in the
57:03
armored cars and tanks and stuff and
57:05
they get into that area behind the lines
57:07
of their immediate they’ll slaughter the
57:09
Amin Ian’s troops they find and they’ll
57:11
go all the way to well I don’t know
57:12
where they would stop but they would
57:14
then they would certainly take all the
57:16
what’s known as the nagorno-karabakh
57:17
region away from Armenia whether they
57:20
would continue into our media in any way
57:22
shape or form you know who’s to say both
57:24
the Russians would do under search such
57:26
circumstances I’m not sure would they
57:29
respond if if they see these mercenary
57:32
troops coming in from from Turkey I just
57:36
don’t know yeah but it’s one of those
57:39
areas among all of these areas where you
57:41
essentially see Russia sees this problem
57:45
and very they’re fighting Turkey at
57:47
every step of the way and and you see
57:52
them Russians active in Libya against
57:54
the Turks in Syria against the Turks in
57:57
Armenia Azerbaijan against the Turks
58:00
and you’re seeing this plan set itself
58:02
out so you have at the very minimum a
58:08
regional conflict starting to develop
58:11
and they’re already shooting I mean
58:13
there’s already fighting going on and in
58:15
most of those arenas and of course
58:18
turkey and and Russia have a long
58:20
history of conflict they’ve had through
58:22
them you know many decades they’ve had
58:24
like three major world wars and lots of
58:27
little conflicts here and there and and
58:28
these are those little conflicts and
58:30
it’s starting to build up so it’s it’s a
58:32
flashpoint that worries me a little bit
58:34
not be kind of one of the things if I
58:36
were doing national security I’d put
58:38
somebody kind of keeping an eye on keep
58:40
a low on this and we have started to try
58:44
and negotiate without somebody on in
58:45
Armenia trying to have a peaceful
58:47
conflict but the fact is the United
58:49
States doesn’t really have a dog in the
58:51
fight for most of this stuff and Trump
58:54
has looked at all of this and said these
58:56
are problems going back thousand years
58:58
so we don’t want any part of it because
58:59
we’re not going to be able to solve it
59:01
you know the problems between the Kurds
59:03
and the Turks they go way back then
59:05
polish between the Armenians and the
59:06
Turks they go way back so I’m not
59:12
know if Trump has made a good choice on
59:14
that or not but I certainly understand
59:16
why he’s done it right and I wouldn’t
59:18
want to lose any of our people over
59:20
those areas but anyway this is certainly
59:23
a mislead shaping wrong let me ask you
59:25
this one minute question and then we’re
59:27
going to take just a few questions from
59:28
our audience how dangerous of that
59:29
threat do you think let me rephrase the
59:32
question how dangerous is our John to
59:35
America because I know he hates us he’s
59:38
not our friend and I know president
59:40
Trump sort of has to put a happy face on
59:43
the relationship because you don’t want
59:44
to get out and shame a leader but in
59:47
reality on the scale of one to ten how
59:50
far can we trust this man I would I
59:51
would put it at about a negative to
59:53
myself just curious where you put it
59:57
yeah I you know I think that’s fair I
60:00
mean I I don’t know where I put it on a
60:03
numeric scale I mean there are things
60:06
that turkey does in cooperation with the
60:08
United States they are already a member
60:10
I think they’re the second largest
60:13
standing army in NATO after the United
60:15
States so I mean they’re they’re
60:18
significant and strategic and important
60:20
but clearly president arowana of Turkey
60:26
has his own agenda yeah and so he’s
60:30
after what he’s after which like I said
60:32
I think you’d have to be blind not
60:34
direct nice he’s after a new ottoman
60:37
empire much larger Empire kind of based
60:40
on the Ottoman Empire so you know his
60:44
interest in art and just have diverged
60:46
without whether there’s still room for
60:47
cooperation remains to be seen and for
60:51
the moment there is cooperation and some
60:53
things but long term it’s just as long
60:57
as everyone is there it’s just it he
61:00
will never relent
61:01
he’ll never stop he’s very determined
61:03
he’s been this way for a very very very
61:06
long time and he knows how to play the
61:08
system so yeah he’s a he’s a worthy
61:12
opponent if you want to look at it that
61:13
way I’ve got a good question for he
61:15
actually on this subject coming out of
61:17
YouTube and his baton he says Brad how
61:20
are they Turkey paying for all that
61:23
they’re doing because he heard
61:26
he has heard you make him confirm this
61:27
or not confirm it but their currency is
61:29
failing so is there an outside source
61:33
paying for this expansion of Turkey
61:35
right that’s actually not a bad question
61:37
it’s not a bad question
61:39
no I would say it’s actually an
61:41
excellent question well thought-through
61:43
I mean I I think in part that’s why
61:45
Turkey wants so bad to start drilling in
61:48
Greek waters for oil is because they
61:50
want these the huge revenue from that
61:52
sort of thing now how much outside
61:54
influence is there how much money are
61:56
they making from other areas I
61:59
personally don’t know haven’t looked
62:01
closely at that aspect but that’s
62:04
actually now that meant your question or
62:06
mentions that I think it’s something I
62:07
will take a closer look at I mean
62:09
immediately you would want to you would
62:11
you would suspect China China yeah are
62:14
they back and this by making problems
62:16
and III can’t say that I know but I can
62:19
say right now that that that that would
62:21
be one of the very first places I would
62:23
milk yeah thank you the Ford and it
62:25
would be to their benefit to see this
62:27
move forward yeah so I wouldn’t be
62:30
surprised that they have some
62:31
behind-the-scenes deals with Turkey but
62:33
I just don’t know Tom that’s a great
62:36
question and we maybe talk about that
62:39
next show that maybe something we can
62:40
look into and get back with you guys on
62:42
that’s actually uh I had thought about
62:44
that all right I got another good
62:46
question Troy’s asking this this is Brad
62:48
what do you know about the continued
62:49
build-up the US forces and other nations
62:52
in the South China Sea because the South
62:54
China Sea seems to be a contentious area
62:56
right now any any updates on that
62:59
anything you can say we’re quick about
63:00
that yeah no this is extremely important
63:05
because China is basically trying to
63:06
close the South China Sea to their own
63:10
control and keep in mind that this is
63:12
basically the modern-day Silk Road and
63:15
the scope rode was economically
63:18
worldwide of worldwide importance and
63:21
this is is the same thing playing out
63:24
again but you’re using these ocean
63:26
routes in addition so it’s extremely
63:29
economically significant which is of
63:31
course why they want to dominate the
63:33
side of China South South China Sea and
63:35
you have places like the
63:38
means that now I’ve taken this to court
63:40
and won and defeated some of the Chinese
63:43
on some of their quest to control and a
63:46
lot of these areas and islands in there
63:48
like belong to the Philippines and this
63:50
stretches all the way down to Australia
63:52
where they’re trying to gain influence
63:54
and control so it’s deeply significant
63:57
the Chinese are fighting hard
63:59
the US has moved several there were
64:02
three carriers in the in the area and I
64:05
think they were closer to Taiwan but
64:07
that we’re in that area that could
64:09
effectively respond and you’re seeing
64:12
countries like the Philippines and India
64:15
and Australia and these countries that
64:19
feel at risk to this Chinese aggression
64:22
begin to make some deals on the side and
64:25
we just saw the United States sold it’s
64:28
the second time we’ve sold them to Japan
64:31
we just sold they really nicely updated
64:35
at the f-35s
64:38
and we sold a hundred of them to Japan
64:41
which is a big deal and we saw something
64:44
like sixty two or three or four with the
64:47
the the a version the a model of the
64:51
f-35 and which is the regular one and
64:54
then they have like thirty seven or
64:57
whatever the smaller number roughly 6040
64:59
of the B version which are the vertical
65:02
takeoff and landing ones like Marine
65:03
Corps type and so I mean that’s a big
65:06
deal you know I would not be surprised
65:08
to see some level of effort made to
65:12
update some of the weaponry that Taiwan
65:17
has now and some of this is trying
65:20
offset that South China Sea aggression
65:23
by the Chinese so this is a big deal and
65:26
still being played out yeah definitely
65:29
you ain’t got Cove it on me do you
65:31
Johnson I just want to make sure that he
65:33
does not have he does not have the
65:34
coronavirus folks he’s just sneezing so
65:36
we don’t want it’s all over we don’t
65:39
black guys with the hats on and the
65:41
black suits jumping down out of Brad’s
65:43
screen and arrested him and taking them
65:45
away dear my interview but hey good
65:47
question here Brandon’s the CIA
65:49
classified and Tifa and black
65:52
matter as domestic terrorist
65:55
organizations I know that president
65:57
wrench wanted to do that
65:58
anything from the CIA on that level is
66:00
this become a domestic terrorist group
66:02
of you certainly not black lives matter
66:06
there’s some talk about but an tithi and
66:08
I understand that a couple of agencies
66:12
have designated an Tifa as a domestic
66:14
terrorist group the FBI being one of
66:17
them okay I I’m not sure that how I
66:21
don’t think that that’s a completed
66:23
process I think it’s it has to go
66:26
through certain of rules and I think I
66:28
don’t hold me to this I may be wrong on
66:30
some about this this works but I believe
66:33
that that some of that has to go through
66:35
like State Department and some of the
66:37
other agencies to be kind of chopped off
66:39
by them and you’re gonna see a lot of
66:41
resistance to that so I think where it
66:44
stands is that it’s in a bureaucratic
66:47
purgatory but I’m just not 100% sure the
66:51
CIA itself as far as I know it’s not
66:54
taking any position on that at all nor
66:56
has it been asked to the CIA would be in
67:00
a position to do a great deal if an Tifa
67:03
receives funding from overseas and
67:05
things like that they would be in a
67:07
position to wrap all that up which they
67:08
could do pretty easily in combination
67:10
with NSA CIA and maybe the military to
67:14
some degree maybe State Department some
67:15
degree there be other agencies involved
67:17
but that full designation would have to
67:20
go all the way through and be approved
67:22
by all of the agencies I think like I
67:25
said I’m not a hundred percent sure how
67:27
that process works because this is a
67:29
domestic terrorist group designation and
67:34
then been that many of those so if any
67:37
so I’m just I’m just not sure how the
67:39
mechanics of that are gonna work yeah
67:41
I’m gonna take the final question for
67:44
you tonight and we’re gonna wrap this up
67:45
if you had the list tonight from where
67:49
you’re sitting with all your years of
67:51
experience in the intelligence field and
67:54
so forth Brad if you had the list the
67:57
top three dangers I know this list has
68:00
changed I’ve you’ve been with me two
68:01
years now and always break stuff
68:04
tonight’s been no different ah
68:06
list has evolved because there were a
68:08
time when Iran was waging its swords
68:12
you know saber rattling a little bit but
68:14
as you look out over this landscape
68:16
tonight and you look at our nation both
68:18
internationally domestically and and you
68:23
were given a threat assessment to the
68:24
president tonight what would be your top
68:27
three things that you would tell them
68:28
mr. president these are the things that
68:30
I believe are the most dangerous and
68:33
then we are the most at threat from here
68:36
in America I’ll let that be my final
68:38
question I’ll take that donal question
68:39
for myself what would those three things
68:41
be uh well I think I mean there’s racial
68:46
definitions required but let’s put it in
68:48
the terms of long-term strategic threat
68:51
to US national security okay under under
68:54
that definition China is probably for
68:57
second third right now I would put up
69:01
with them penny come combined Iran and
69:05
terrorism is one thing I and I think
69:08
that’s still going to be a very serious
69:10
long-term strategic threat to United
69:12
States and me personally I would put I
69:16
would put Turkey in that why op three
69:21
Wow and the reason I don’t put North
69:26
Korea or Russia in there is because
69:29
Russia is facing off turkey with turkey
69:33
now and that’s going to absorb some
69:36
resources on their part they also see
69:39
the threat from China and they’re every
69:42
bit as much threatened by China if not
69:44
more advanced states right point there’s
69:47
certainly much closer you know together
69:48
physically so Russia’s got other
69:51
problems and other opponents so they’ve
69:54
got things to occupy some of their
69:56
resources and time and effort so they’re
69:58
not going to want to take on you know
70:01
huge swaths of more stuff like a direct
70:03
confrontation with the United States so
70:05
North Korea it’s too small and kind of
70:07
you know they’ve got their own problems
70:09
it looks like the rocket man has got
70:11
some health issues and all this stuff
70:13
going on in there and he’s probably got
70:14
some uncle or cousin he wants to so you
70:18
know Easy’s busy play
70:19
execution so I would I would put those
70:23
three China as per second third place
70:25
and and Turkey and then the sort of
70:30
Iranian terrorism thing as as the third
70:33
one I just want to clarify to our
70:35
audience tonight Brad was when he said
70:37
rocket man he was not referring to Elton
70:39
John Elton John is not the leader of
70:40
North Korea we just want to clarify that
70:42
because I said I guess some individual
70:45
email me I don’t know whose rocket man
70:48
he’s talking about is Elton John the
70:49
leader North Korea Elton John’s not the
70:51
leader in North Korea I had to throw
70:52
that in okay good questions let me
70:54
follow this one be okay
70:56
long-term strategies break but short
70:59
term tonight right as of July the 21st
71:01
2020 and give me you talk to you real
71:03
quick
71:03
what’s the two most dangerous things
71:05
facing this country right now as of
71:07
tonight well I think it you start
71:13
getting into things like these regional
71:15
conflicts and some of the face offs that
71:18
we’re seeing the ones I have mentioned
71:20
and I let’s not forget some of these
71:22
conflicts that have taken place recently
71:24
between India and China who’s becoming
71:26
very aggressive and through those
71:29
regional conflicts I mean and if you
71:32
look historically back at World War one
71:35
and how it began I mean World War one
71:37
you had all these factions including in
71:39
Turkey and Russia and all these people
71:41
different people were in these two
71:43
different factions pushing against each
71:45
other and quite belligerent and angry
71:47
and minor conflicts going on all over
71:49
that was the situation we found and when
71:52
Duke Ferdinand was assassinated in
71:54
Sarajevo that kicked off the entire
71:58
world war one you did and it was a one
72:00
guy being shot by one other guy and you
72:05
know it take to it when everything is
72:07
positioned with all of these different
72:09
factions facing each other
72:11
it could take the fairly small spark
72:13
sometimes to create a you know a huge
72:15
problem so that worries me because we
72:19
have all these regional conflicts and
72:21
the different factions and you’ve got
72:23
China is a player India is more like the
72:26
you know attacked player but India also
72:28
has those problems going on with
72:30
Pakistan you know
72:32
Costanza Islamic Republic and you’ve got
72:35
the different places in China where
72:37
they’ve got you know the Weir’s that are
72:39
persecuted by the Chinese and really so
72:42
you have all these different factions
72:43
with their competing interests and you
72:45
have some shooting going on in the midst
72:47
of all that so I would say the
72:49
short-term risk to us are one of those
72:52
things flaring up and bringing in more
72:55
players on a larger scale and well I
72:58
wouldn’t really be particularly worried
73:01
about a world war I’m I’m worried about
73:04
like a very dangerous regional war they
73:07
just don’t mean no we don’t bread
73:09
oh I’m we doing there buddy good stuff
73:11
is all the way from a friend and we’re
73:12
going to be back on soon again I want to
73:14
thank the audience for being with us
73:15
tonight and this early bird Mac file
73:17
special we’ve gone a little later than
73:20
normal but Brad but it’s been worth this
73:21
international stuff always intrigues me
73:23
and you’re one of the best sources I out
73:25
there I’ve ever talked to about it and I
73:27
just want to thank you so much my buddy
73:30
for your friendship first for your
73:32
intelligence and bringing that on our
73:34
show our people are always blessed by
73:35
books I encourage you to visit Brad’s
73:38
website intel reformed org
73:40
he’s got a PayPal button on there for
73:42
donations he click he does this full
73:45
time and just information you get he
73:48
that’s what he spends his life doing he
73:50
gets his forests and he actually writes
73:53
for the epic time sometimes and other
73:55
publications and you can always find
73:57
this work there and we appreciated my
73:59
encourage you to support him if you can
74:01
and I know you’ll let him know if you go
74:03
to Intel I understand I’ll let you
74:05
before we close you mentioned that we’ve
74:06
had you had some folks from our show
74:07
last time reach out to you and said they
74:10
heard you on the Mac files and that that
74:12
was really God appreciate our people
74:13
doing that that made me feel good that
74:15
we had some folks from show do that for
74:16
you I actually get a lot of feedback
74:20
from the people off of this particular
74:22
show your your viewers are actually
74:25
quite often reach out to me make
74:27
comments on different things of things
74:29
they liked and just there even just
74:32
there thanks and appreciation which is a
74:34
beautiful to hear so I’m ray for always
74:37
like doing the show and I think we’ve
74:39
got some rapport established with these
74:42
interviews that we do and with your with
74:44
your viewers and so on
74:45
it’s uh it is something I enjoy a little
74:48
bit I particularly enjoy your show well
74:50
I enjoy coming on and one day he’s gonna
74:54
bring Elvis out or at least somebody I
74:55
think what Johnson trying to contemplate
74:58
because he is you know he’s former CIA
74:59
guy these CIA types can figure this
75:02
stuff out I keep waiting for him to have
75:04
an Elvis impersonator waiting for me one
75:06
day when I filled up the zoom camera and
75:08
he’s actually got Elvis sitting there I
75:11
don’t know what Chris is gonna do I
75:13
don’t know what her audience is gonna do
75:15
but anyway we’re gonna have you back
75:19
home soon buddy I got a few ideas for
75:21
some great shows coming up there was a
75:23
show that we did a couple of years ago
75:24
it’s been this it’s hard to believe it’s
75:25
been two years on some of the CIA myths
75:28
and some of the area 51
75:31
Roswell things and and all that stuff
75:34
and I found that very intriguing we got
75:35
a Neve audience so we might revisit one
75:37
of those kind of shows sometime in the
75:40
future but we definitely want to talk
75:41
about I do wanna talk about cyber threat
75:43
next time Brad I do because I think
75:44
that’s something that very very
75:46
seriously underreported in this country
75:48
and it’s probably more dangerous than
75:49
even the physical threat of war from the
75:52
Chinese and it’s something we need to be
75:54
aware of but we’ll get that’s another
75:56
program for another time god bless you
75:58
out there god bless your families god
75:59
bless this great nation of America my
76:01
night is not over I’ll be back with you
76:02
later tonight around 10 o’clock from a
76:04
justice we won’t keep you terribly long
76:07
tonight but we do have a lot of things
76:08
to talk about including Major League
76:10
Baseball shaming itself last night in
76:13
the San Francisco Bay Area and I’ve got
76:16
a lot to say about that tonight you
76:18
might not want to have the kids around
76:19
when I’m talking about it because even
76:22
Johnson’s I wouldn’t even suggest him
76:24
show up his virgin ears may not want to
76:26
hear what I got to say about it so I’m
76:28
just saying the Brad thank you so much
76:30
it’s hell reformed org see you tonight
76:33
I’m existence of ten folks until then
76:34
Chris McGann from Brad Johnson happy
76:36

76:37
