   Finished? The politics of personal networks. Perhaps but I don’t know what he has to barter.
   A s figure-head?
   It’s true, memory has a short half-life, so if a person is charming, charismatic or somehow impressive, most of us will only recall an unfavorable impression. These sorts of people can be re-elected time and again.
   However, Mike Pence lacks these attributes. He appears to have been embalmed and emotionally staid.
