Putin is opening cracks in the EU so the need for heating fuel and the coming economic crisis will destroy the EU.
Putin won’t be hurt by the heating and economic crisis. His main enemies in the west will be at each other’s throats and his frenemies in the far east will be hurt during the economic crisis.
This makes it a win, win for Putin.
