Russia and Turkey: Battle to Claim Crimea

Turkish President Erdogan and Russian President Putin present the interesting body language of frenemies.

Tension grows between frenemies Putin and Erdogan as both claim Crimea. The warm water port and strategic location have high value for the two as part of their respective empires. Erdogan threatens to close the Bosphorus Straight if Putin doesn’t back off from his efforts to dominate Ukraine. This sword rattling is nothing new. Brad Johnson explains.
